@jgerlach12 - Almost unbelievable that he was in that town during that time. Quite a performance, and something quite original, even in a town (Detroit) known for its music.
Caught you twice Adam - last time early 90s in at the Royal Oak Theatre, just outside of Detroit, and it has stuck with me my whole life, as your albums and early videos have . . .
@MOONST0MP Now I may be wrong, but I think the hair loss was something to do with the medication he was taking. He's now not taking any, so hence the growth.. x
Nice to witness someone so influential on a generation that comes across so well considered and humble. An appreciation for art of being a good entertainer.
A great interview by a brilliant, proper musician as opposed to the X Factoresque pap which he so rightfully condemns. His live shows are awesome - great songs, loads of energy, really edgy. That's why he's lasted thirty years and X Factor winners last a year or two !!!
i cant listen to him seriously ,he slags way to many other bands off ,who are way better than him. he is two bob at the end of the day. very depressing too.
Wow, totally agree with adam on all the electronic shit, get off you're arse and go find the record, look at the sleeve, learn what went into it, cherish it.
@FraterAeternus93 He So does! -esp the importance of making sure the kids today know the raw pleasure of a real album - we can not let it be forgotten! - and his distaste for big pharma and what they are doing to people...
i feel like a hypocrite saying this (being online now lol) but i agree mostly about what he says about the internet. i mean, aside from this place, lookin up old videos and interviews, news, music, and games, i really dont use the computer for all this facebook and myspace crap, load of bs that is, it takes away from people being social beings, has anyone seen younger kids in late teens-mid 20's? they are like androids, i swear you would see a spike in suicide if the internet collapsed for a day
@hellchild65 i agree i like the human touch aswell ... a cup of coffee or maybe even going out to a night club and meeting a boy.I worry about young minds, i like adult movies for example but i was allowed to be a child first and fall in love and have my heart broken & play sport & learn without crap like adult movies & Facebook etc but we must change and without the internet i couldnt see Adam Ant.Adam Ant is a good man he protects his kids and lets them grow.
Adam looks and sounds just fab my only concern is the band n singers up to bringing his tour to the great heights it deserves?? Girl singers did not sound very strong. Anyway I'll be there up front giving it sox. Love Mr Ant a total legend. Can't wait x x kt
Stuart aka Adam makes reference to Paul Weller, saying Paul has been consistant. Nice one Stu, you are right Weller has been consistant. Weller, Adam Ant, and MJ have been my main men throughout the 80's! So glad you are back on the music scene!!
@JennySussex No shit Sherlock, his name's Stuart, what do you want an award? He calls himself Adam Ant because that is what he wants to be called, don't pretend like you know him.
Great interview :) all time legend, I am glad that he is touring again :) Thank you for posting the interview. I am really proud of what Adam is doing he is a musical genius. Can't wait for his new album Black Hussar in Marrying the Gunner's daughter.

@MOONST0MP Wig, Or he's just grown everything out that he could and put a hat/bandana on top - he has to keep up appearances. You know, a guy thing.

He's so calm and confident but you can sense a bit of danger brewing underneath it all.

He looks a bit down..... like he's fed up. Maybe its because the interviewer is a chirpy cunt, I don't know.
