Panflute is my first choice in musical instruments, followed after by the thrumphet. When well played they are pure magic and are ment to be listen with the soul. Beautiful melody, harmony all over, a master's wounder.

Hawaii is a part of United States of America, so it is usual that music like this appear in films and series with north american ambientation.

This is not a negative feature, instead is positive, in my point of view.

Oh, I am sorry. There are many pan flute´s types between Latin America and Asia.

The music remembered me the animated serie Candy Candy, inspired in the U.S. old literature.

The panflute is not indigenous to Hawaii, but there were types of panflutes used in the South Seas. Captain Cook actually brought some with him when he came to the Islands.

I've lived in Hawaii for some 40 years. I am a recipient of one of Hawaii most prestigious music awards.. The Hoku.

I discovered that the panflute sounded great in Hawaiian music because it is such an expressive instrument. Maybe the first time its been used as such. Perhaps...
