I couldnt say as i havent used an M4 before. If you were to go for the M14 tho, i would spend the extra on a TM version as the AGM will blow on you eventually. I have heard alot of reports of it happening but for the price it lasted long enough to make it worth it to me.
I have this rifle and it is freakin awsome. The only thing i hate about it is the stupid battery. Mine came with a 8.2V 1200MAH battery and i replaced it with a 8.2V 3800MAH battery. With the 1200 battery i could only get maybe 150 rounds off before it would die, but with the 3800 i can get 5 400 round mags off before it would die, more then enough. I bought my 2 3800MAH batteries and a smart charger for $75.00 on ebay. Iam here to say it makes a bunch more fun shooting people.
Do you have to use the whole battery up when you use it, or can you use it a little bit, so theres power left, and then like a day or 2 later use it again, like without charging it??
i would say with the battery it comes with use it that day then charge it but any other battery it should be fine i havent had any problems and i some times will go weeks with out shooting it and wont have problems so i woulld say yes you can but not the battery it comes with. i have a pic of my AGM M14 on my page if you want to see it.
Well, mine broke on me after a few months but i knew it was a cheap one when i bought it. Had no problems with the battery. Left it a few days and any charge that was there seemed to still be there. For the price, was worth the fun! All i have to do now is get a feckin job so i can buy a decent one tho :)
It is good but mine has gone bust since. They are fun but not made very well. If you could afford the dearer one i would definately pay the extra for quality.
I would have liked to add a laser sight but stragngely enough they are illegal in ireland. Something to do with that they are seen as a part for a real firearm and so cannot be added to airsoft. Doesnt make sense to me tho as a scope is for a real firearm also but they are legal. If you can afford the TM one i would say go with that. The AGM one isnt the most reliable.
Hopefully it will work ok for you. Id say the semi auto will go on you eventually but that didnt bother me too much. Easy enough to fire 1 or 2 rounds on full auto anyway.
To be honest i have no idea about this kinda stuff. At the moment when i pull the trigger there is very slight movement from the gears but no shot. Also if i press the trigger a few times the battery starts to heat up alot. Dont know if that helps tell what the problem is but as i said i really dontr know much about all this. Sry.
It is very powerful and fun but it will eventually wear out. The gears on mine seem to have jammed. Im sure i could fix it if i knew more about them but unfortunately i dont. Still, was a great rifle while it lasted. Well worth the price
Not sure exactly but about 6 months id say. Im thinking of getting a good springer sniper rifle to replace it. Possibly the L96 or may go for the CA SL8 Sniper AEG either altho thats quite expensive.
Sure, good points are that its very cheap yet powerful compared to most others. Its quite heavy also so feels really good. Also the Hi Cap mags hold approx 300 rounds so not too much reloading. Bad points are that the Semi Auto seems to go bust on all AGM M14s after about 1000 rounds, full auto still goes tho. Also mine has stopped firing now but i was reusing bb`s which is meant to be a bad idea so may have been my fault.
I presume you can. I noticed that also altho the flash hider is quite difficult to take off. I dont have a supressor but i would think you can add one
how long untill yours broke

Sweet I want to get one of these plus a laser dot sight. I've heard the Tokyo Marui M14 is very good as well though.
