  • Hey! I did finally record a duet with this vid, but I lack the technological know-how and the program to make a video out of it. If you'd like to hear I could send you the MegaUpload file though!

  • This is really good. I just wish your mic was better :(

  • Wow your voice is amazing!

  • I love your voice so much, you're amazing, and you have the timing, pitch, and everything perfect! You're absoluley awesome! I wish I could sing like you.

  • According to my friend we sound amazing together. haha. (:

  • your an amazing singer x

  • You sing like a Disney princess :)

  • Amazing!

My best friend was supposed to be moving but her dad turned down the trasfer and now she is staying. My other best friend and I were going to sing this song at her going away party that we were going to have. I am so happy that she is staying because I love her with all my heart and I couldn't imagine life without her. I'm just sad my friend and I couldn't sing this to her because of how beautiful it is. :-)

  • I don't know what people are talking about, Elphaba goes higher towards the end where they sing 'but none of it seems to matter anymore'. It's clearly shown/heard that way in the rehearsal video, and just about any other Menzel/Chenoweth 'For Good' video. You did well for 16 years old, so bravo to you.

  • It was really good but at the end, glinda goes up and elphaba keeps the melody. Just saying

  • Awesome job!

  • u did awesome....soo good that im not sure its real

  • At 2:56 you didnt sing.

  • Amazing! You belong on stage

  • I forget how good you are sometimes :)

  • Finally someone who's good!:D It was awesome to sing with you!

  • ur awefully good!!! u use ur heart to sing :D

  • I'm using this to practice the song, I'm planning to do it with a friend when we dress up as Elphie and Glinda sometime.

  • i like how you sing "woods" :DD

  • awesome

  • You're fun to sing with :)

  • This is so cute!!!!!!! Its fun to sing along with someone who can actually sing really well, unlike many other people here on youtube

  • I'd be happy to finish the duet, but I only could if there was a way that you could send my the video or audio.

  • Well done :D I had fun singing with you :)

  • You are

  • I like this. All the others are you sing glindas part. I like elphies part better! :)

  • aww well you should try it again lol :) I think you would do very good!

  • thank you! i've been practicing with you for a few times and it's great singing with you! :)

  • i think you're really good but you seem to me focusing more on singing with the piano isntead of letting it flow and you sand a little lower for Glinda's part :( I do like it though it made it easier to notice where Elphaba's part began :)

you seem to miss the first time they both say because i knew you and then say it together

  • @cksgurl7 this video was made in 2008, when i was 16. i barely knew the song, sadly enough.

  • @alittledazzled Don't listen to them, if you barely knew the song you did great.

    you must be fantastic now

  • beautiful voice :)

  • this is such a great idea!!!! i love it :)) and your voice

  • I will totally post a video response to it after i get Elphaba's part. :D I so used to singing Glinda's part

  • you kinda sound like kristin chenowith a little bit... It's cool :)

  • does this start in c? my arrangement does and i want to make sure i'm not practicing wrong.

  • i'm planning to do this song with a friend for a talent show, but it has to be four minutes or less. do think it would be bad if we sped it up just enough to meet the time limit?

  • @mckeelsy I would say yeah. It doesn't need to be as slow as it normally is. It would probably be a little harder to keep the tempo though...

  • Haha, I'm in a competition dueting this song, and I was just sitting there, looking at my music, and just like, "... Wait, why isn't she singing?"

Other than that minor line, good job! I may video response this.

  • I love your voiceee. <3

  • Great job!! :)

  • This is a halfstep down from the original key. Why?

  • oh my god, you're fantastic

  • Oh, btw you did very great even though you did miss a word or two, you kept going that's what's important, and I applaud you for that. GREAT JOB!

  • Idk how to do a video response. Do you use any type of camera? I'm so sorry I've just never done video responses before.

  • This is a great help for me thanx so much.

And I'd like to sing with you again

    lol

  • amazing! until i read you sang this, i thought it was an original recording from the charactor of Galinda. i went and seen this musical live. it is so amazing. this song is so heartfelt, and the way you sang her part is exactly how she felt :) keep doing what you do. you will make it big one day :)

  • This was really fun to sing this, this way. Thanks

  • I enjoy harmonizing with you hehe :)

  • Thanxx your voice is very good! :) x

  • your voice is amazing

  • I wish I had good recording equipment, which do you use?

sorry my english Is terrible I come from the Netherlands

  • Audacity is a simple and free program to use when editing or merging files together.

It will make it easier for you to increase the volume on your vocal track so the piano doesn't drown you out.

I much liked your rendition! You're wonderful. =)

  • you have a BEAUTIFUL voice and i actually sang along with my horrid voice, hehe :)

  • Nice job. You have a great voice.

  • beautiful voice!!

  • I would love to duet with you. Do I add it as a video response afterwards?

  • @TRtheCrazyOne yes :)

  • @alittledazzled I have uploaded my duet. Thank you so much for letting me sing with you! :D

  • your voice is gorgeous! thankyou for posting this video, its helped me a lot for my stage show :)

  • I couldn't figure out how to post a response but please check out my videos to listen to my response! I've never had any lessons...just for fun =]

  • Great video! I think I'm going to attempt to post a response for fun :-] (my voice is no where near as good as your's and I've never had lessons)

  • Here come my lack of talent. I think I'm horrible.

  • You have a really good voice!! I have a pretty low voice but this song is perfect for my voice and we sound pretty good together!!

  • ! really liked this u sing great btw I really can't sing though I want to Btw: it dosen't mean I don't sing XD

  • you have a nice voice

  • Would you be interested in doing a duet together for For Good? :)

  • beautiful voice i read the comments and you were only 16 when you created this unbeilevable

  • Oh, you go ahead and mess up a few lines....it's okay because at least you can sing. When I tried to sing this my neighbors called the cops thinking I was boiling cats alive over here. :~) lol!

  • omg...when u sang i was like O_O amazing! Then i tried to join in and it sounded awesome...sweet vid and u have a great voice! XD

  • Superr Amazing Voicee!!! I Have A Recital Coming Up On October 10th And This Helped Me So Much! I'm Singing Elphaba's Part So Even Better :D Thankss!! (:

  • you're amazing!

  • Omg, your voice is absolutely stunning! You sound just like Kristen. Keep singing =]

  • this is the easiest one to harmonize to!!! idk why =P lol even though i suck, i love singing!!!

  • nice voice

  • best i've heard so far, great job.

  • your voice is alittle to deep to sing this part. But you have a very pretty voice.

  • u r very good

  • amaizing voice. how old ru?

  • @CYTatlantaROXX 18. i think i was 16 when i created this video.

  • heyy! so I have a question! how do I create a video response that adds my voice alongside yours to create a duet? thanks!

    :)

    btw, your voice is beautiful!

  • @BWoodFreshman thanks! just click on the

  • @alittledazzled text box. on the right it says "attach video"

  • @alittledazzled how do we do the video repsonse?

  • @Dallasluvsjesus when you click on the comment box, there's a link on the right that says "Create a video response"

  • oops. 10 people missed the like button.

  • Once I get it memorized better, I may post the duet. :)

  • PS you have a lovely voice.

  • You are really good!

  • you have a really great voice! the only thing is that you're missing some of the duet parts. where the two are actually singing together. other than that though you're really talented. and your voice is beautiful!

  • You are AmAzInG!!! I'm a Wicked geek!!!! I posted a video response of me singing Glinda's part, but everyone says I sound much better singing Elphie's. I would love to do a duet with u of this song.

  • i love this song, i did a solo to this song for my skool talent show!

  • Well done!

  • your voice is perfect for glinda! you have a cheno quality to your voice! it's great!

  • Your voice is so sweet and it fits Galinda perfectly. However go listen to "For Good" Idina Menzel and Kristin Chenowirth version. GALINDA sings lower.

  • oh my...I thought at first it was Kristen Chenowith!!!...YOU DID A GREAT JOB !!!!

  • Omgggg i so wanna do a duet with you!!!!!!!!!!! I LOVE THIS SONG. And I love Elphaba's part!! Omg it'd be so funnnn :) :) :)

  • how do you record your voice with the backing track? like with what program etc because i wanna do it with this and other stuff too x

  • i like the voice

  • Comment removed

  • I would like to do a real duet and record it playing your voice for Elph's part, because in truth, we both had similar voices sort of, but mine is sort of higher.. I think it would sound nice, Would you like to join me in this?

  • @SpazzyMcJazzy yeah sure, that be cool. with this song?

  • You're amazing, I had fun "singing this with you" perhaps I'll post a vid response :)

  • wow you sound just like the real Glinda! Great Job!

  • yeah the arrangement was strange at the end but i enjoyed singing with you! you ahve a very bautiful voice!

  • You sang the right parts, people here are mistaken! Great job :) Had a lot of fun singing with you, unfortunately my Mic is terrible... otherwise I woul've uploaded it and sent it to you... ;)

  • @VeronicasFan2 thank you! for backing me up, lol. i'm pretty sure i sang the part right. i just missed one line at the end. aw, if you get a chance, i would love to hear it :)

  • @alittledazzled No problem.. I would love that too, we actually sound pretty good together! xD

  • you did really good but you sang all of elphaba's harmonies so you threw me off in my recording :)

  • You miss... are brilliant.

  • You sound exactly like Kristen Chenoworth XD OMG

  • iTS EXCELLENT BUT YOU SANG ELPHIE'S LINE IN THE LAST I DO BELIEVE I HAVE BEEN CHANGED FOR THE BETTER, YOU SHOULD HAVE DONE THE HIGHER LINE, ITS GREAT OTHER THAN THAT AND YOU HAVE A FAB VOICE :D

  • This is really good. i could've mistaken you fro Kristen Chenowith because you sound a lot like her. Absolutely AMAZING!!!

  • you have an awesome voice . i wish i have that voice so i could get this solo in my school.....Good job! :)

  • U're really good!

Best video to sing elphaba in this i found on all of youtube.

    Kepp on going! :)

  • @ShadowHart9 aw thank you so much. you're too kind.

  • You really do have a beautiful voice. Keep doing what you love!

  • youre singing the wrong part for galinda. and you missed a line

  • thank sooo much!! I needed to try sining it kareoke because me and my friend are going to addition to sing it for our graduation. It was a BIG help. Thanks Again!! ;)

  • i love your voice!! you actually sound like Kristen Chenoweth(sp)

  • LIES! WebkinzFan91...look at the sheet music! Also like broadwayfanforever23 said you have to listen to CD really closely.

  • Not to be rude, but if you say you are singing Glinda's part, sing that part the whole way through.

When they are both singing the "comet pulled from orbit" and "ship blown from it's mooring" at the same time, you sang Elphaba's part.

And the little voice things, that's Elphaba's too. Also, at one part, you sang the low part. Glinda always, ALWAYS sings the high part.

  • @WebkinzFan91 i believe your wrong. listen to the track, watch the actual broadway. i've seen it, and i know. glinda doesn't ALWAYS sing the high parts. she sings the low note. she sang it right.

  • @broadwayfanforever23 I've listened to it and seen it too. Glinda sings the high parts more often than not.

  • @WebkinzFan91 Not to be rude, but when you say "Glinda sings the high parts more often than not." That's true, but for THIS song, she has the low harmony. I've never even seen this show and I know that! Try listening to it again. Then come back and admit to being wrong :)

  • @uberawesomeme12 i love you ;)

  • @alittledazzled Lol! You're welcome. And you're really really good, just to let you know :)

  • @broadwayfanforever23

    @WhispersandDreams

Obviously you are both insane because Glinda has never sung the low notes.

That would sound bad for her.

I have seen the musical and have the soundtrack, which I listen to 24/7. I think I would know. So don't try to tell me. I know this musical much better than both of you.

  • @WebkinzFan91

Obviously you have not heard enough of Kristin.

Look up "For Good Rehearsals", and it's a video of them singing this song.

Watch and see who's singing what. They even do close ups to make it easier.

    I'm done.

  • @WebkinzFan91 Stop trying to claim that you're the biggest Wicked fan, because it isn't working. I don't want to be rude, but you're message is turning me off. You OBVIOUSLY can't tell the difference between voices. Kristen and Idina and very distinct voices. I know my musical theatre. I live musical theatre, and I can tell the difference between the two voices.

  • @broadwayfanforever23 That was my little sister who was saying that. I guess she was on my account on Youtube. I apologize for any offense she caused. Though I do agree, I thought it was Glinda singing the high parts [it's hard to tell]. Not that it really matters because it was just a song, but please stop commenting because I'm kind of sick of getting responses. Thank you!

  • @WebkinzFan91 I have the songbook. The lower part is Glinda.
