The Danish Royal Family is the most exciting royal of Europe. I admire the Queen and the family especially Crown Prince Frederick and Princess Mary representing the country abroad and Denmark is the happiest people on Earth and I strongly supporter the monarchy. Crown Prince Frederick and family deserve to be happy and they are not much different to other royal in Europe. I like them because they are down to earth and you see what you get! Stop rubbishing about them.

I can't stand pettiness even when it is directed against royalty. There are, what seem to be, women here out to carp and harp and spitefully teardown the Crown Pincess of Denmark, a young girl of charm, beauty and intelligence who fell incove with handsome prince and got him to love her. The live off an income of 2 million a year. She works hard to dress and look the part., as well as to do good in her position. Lots of charities. To me she's an admirable person. But these harpies wont let up!

Can you explain me why these royal families have the right to live different from the ordinary people? In my country we don't have monarchy, we have presidentialism. The president earn a income, that is not too much. The president has a good life and eveything that he does is supervised by the society and the constitutive. Does anyone supervise what monarchy do?

they are given generous allowances, the parliament gives them additional grant for their additional needs, parliament gives mary and fred $28 millions to renovate palace, mary wants 20 washrooms installed :)

Are we talking about the renovation of Friedersborg Palace. Last time I saw it (about 10 years ago, it was pretty run down. Yes, it's opnen to the public to visit, and I think I paid €14 per person for the privilege.

Mary and family live in a small part o it, not the state apartments but a dependence, so to speak, and the rest is open to tourists..

I don't understand people who have a monarchy and want to drive them into the ground with pettinss. I cannot speak for the Danes, but as a Brit, I want the Queen and her family to "live like royalty." Frederick is a pretty special guy. He loves her and she loves him. I think she did well, not because of the clothes and beauty treatments but because she landed a loving husband and a very special country of which one day to be Queen. +80% of people living in monarchies support the monarch.

The thing that I like about monarchy is that they are NOT bloody politicians-- these errant adventurers who live by their tongues off glibness and lies. What did Napoleon call politicians? Merchants in dreams. They will be the ruin of us all!

Mary's ethnicity is Scottish! I see little difference between Scots and Danes. She is an ordinary girl who had the brains to be private to keep her mouth shut, which is what royalty does.
