I've had DR1 for years, but stopped playing it due to it's crippled save state. I got DR2 and am almost done with it (with the story anyway) and then I'm going to give DR1 a second chance. Great Review, you won a sub! ~Frank

@Silversava2 The first one is in the bargain bin nowadays, I would definitely pick it up and check it out if I were you. DR 2 comes out on 9/28 so you'll have plenty of time to finish the original!

So it's really up to you. Personally I would get the disc for the added flexibility.

THe wii: HORRIBLE JUNK. only good thing about it is the gamecube compatabilty. and the gamecube is in my opinion one of the best consoles out there. but the wii compatibility dosnt even WORK!!!!

the ps3: AMAZING. great. has a lot of good game. esspeccialy lbp2 and uncharted and killzone.

i got some question. I have this game and.... nr 1: how the holy fuck do you get new skills? (like tacling them to ground/ ripp out theyr guts, judo stuff etc.) nr 2: can anyone tell me how to get the chainsaws (And can they break??) well thats it i hope to gets answers, thanks up front ^^

To get new skills, you have to level up by getting prestige points . This can be done by killing zombies, taking pictures, or escorting survivors. And as for the chainsaws, you can get the big ones in the hardware store, and you can get the mini ones by killing Adam The Clown. And yes, they do break eventually. I hope this was helpful. :P

Every weapon eventually breaks or runs out of ammo, but certain books in the mall will make weapons last longer. :P

You obviously dont know what an engine is most games use different engines and some ,like Epic Games and the unreal engine, liscense that technology out to other companies. In Dead Rising you're pretty much stuck in the mall and sewers. If you want to wander around a city killing zombies you should check out Left 4 Dead.
