  • Why whole wheat?

  • BEAUTIFUL BRWN BBYDOLL YOU ARE MY INSPIRATION AND YOU HAVE MOTIVATED ME TO KEEP MOVING FORWARD WITH MY WEIGHT LOSS JOURNEY AND TO NOT GIVE UP ON MYSELF AND I WANT TO THANK YOU

  • The questions is does she answer any questions???

  • Great job! You are beautiful inside & outside. I think a lot of you are STILL missing the big picture. She did her research & found what worked for her & stuck with it. She lost the weight & kept it off for over 2years now. Everyone has an opinion but you always need to remember you can't force your believes or lifestyle on anyone.

  • @junklemon67 No way!!! The same one I'm using! My sister hae tried and it worked well for her and now it's my chance to try how amazing the diet is. If I'm not mistaken the site is WeightLossAction.Info.

  • What kind of milk do you use for your cereals?

  • I HAVE A TASTE FOR CHOCOLATE CERTAIN TIMES OF THE MONTH...WHAT CAN GIVE ME THAT CHOCOLATE TASTE

  • @marcie101080 Try Special K Chocolate Delight cereal or many of their 90 calorie bars that have enough chocolate to satisfy you! If you love just plain chocolate, try eating bar that contain 60% cocoa, because these bars usually have less sugar in them, just try to stick to a 1oz or so! Hope this helps!

  • IS THERE A WEBSITE THAT HAS VEGETARIAN RECIPES..I STARTED A VEGETARIAN DIET BUT I RAN OUT OF IDEAS...I LOOOVE TILAPIA

  • I usually have 2 or 3 of those @ 50m cals. "IDK how many that is? Ahh that would be 150........

  • Now how can you be Vegan/vegetarian when you eat fish and shrimp? Albacore, ja....OMG really?

  • I luv this video! Gonna try vegetarian because I'm noticing that i'm starting to stray away from meats...slowly but surely. Great vid!

  • IS BROWN SUGAR A GOOD SUBSTITUTE ALSO?

  • I love you! Pretty much, I cried watching your keeping your confidence video lol. Its time for me to start working out again, and your video's definitely helped boost me into the mode I need to be in. I have struggled with low self-confidence as a teen and even now, (I actually was apologizing to my boyfriend and crying to him on the phone about some things today) But I just wanted to Thank You so very much from the bottom of my heart for your encouragement, and direction on keeping weight off.

  • this video was awesome, maybe you could put some vegetarian meals together for people that are thinking about giving up meat. My chiropractor told me that even being a vegetarian 50% of the time could make a huge differ, in my overall health.

  • you are soooo pretty

  • Do you have a video on hpw you did your hair in this video? I want to start working out but I need a reallllly low maintenance hair style. I'm about 6 months into my transitionan- I went to the a stylist but they keep trying to relax my hair or yank it out w/a rattail comb... ouch

  • @lynsmith1 I think it depends on who you ask. Most vegans and lacto-ovo vegetarians would not consider her a vegetarian. I am also a vegetarian and the times in my life where I have decided that I need to incorporate fish in my diet I do not consider myself to be a vegetarian. She would be referred to as a Pescetarian or a Pesce-vegetarian.

  • i see you like your "vegetarian" food out of a can......not fresh...

  • were u vegetarian when u were big? if not, when did u turn vegetarian?

  • just an fyi im a vegetarian and fruit snacks marshmellos and any other jelly like candy contain geletain....geletain contains crushed horse hoofs and pork....if you dont believe me google it

  • @nikkylovesmakeup24 vegetarians eat by-products of animals, as vegans do not. so technically she's a pescatarian because she eats fish.

  • Yes i know this sounds a bit wierd but really iam making videos about how to manage time and be more successful i would like you if you don't mind to give me your experince in time management :) check out my channel and give me your feedback thanks alot :)

  • do you have a video on what excercises you used to lose the 80lbs.

  • You said your a vegetarian but you eat shrimp, cheese and fish? I don't understand. You need to say that you don't eat beef, pork, or chicken.... That would be better.

  • @andrealovette Common misconception! Vegans dont eat diary, gelatin, and fish/seafood. Vegetarians however are open to eat diary, fish, and gelatin. vegetarians normally dont eat Red Meat! Fish is higher in Protein and isnt necessarily classified as a meat! technically she is vegetarian.

  • Do you ever let yourself go? eat something with High calories like when you go out with friends and such?

  • Thanks for parts I&II you broke it down. I know you will keep it off, you are informative and inspirational.

  • Excellent video. The food choices are great and affordable!

  • girl thanks for the info. cant stand ur cute sexy lean azz. just kidding.

    xoxox

    chi-man11

  • I see a lot of junk in your kitchen....

  • You are a beautiful inspiring lady! I also love your hair video...You show that woman can take care of ourselves without expensive gym memberships and hair products. Regarding your diet-I was a little surprised that you don't eat any fresh fruit, and when you whipped out the box of corn flakes. If you try eating fruit, it would stave off your sugar cravings. I realize this was made 2 years ago. I'm going to check to see if you've made a more recent video. Thank you!!!

  • awesome video!! :)

butttt, its easier when you live alone, i must say

    hopefully i do sooon

  • awesome video!! :)

  • I admire you and applaud your success but please remember that FRESH IS BEST! The sodium in processed foods is one of our harshest enemies. Please use fresh or frozen veggies, fruits, etc. You have to shop a little more often and spend a little more money but we cannot trust all these packaged/canned foods anymore. It's not like our grandmother's food choices. Find local farmers, start your own gardens. Do not rely on the FDA standards to make the best choices for you. Whole grains+water+fresh!

  • lol..fish doesnt count as meat?

  • @DatShawti No, they're meant alternatives, and some vegetarians believe Chicken and Turky are okay cause they're fowl, but no.. they're still meat, and counted as meat, btw, I was a vegetsarian since I was 7, :)

  • Cool beans, no pun intended lol

  • so actually your more like a pescatarian

  • Did you just decide to go vegetarian once you started losing the weight, or were you always vegetarian? The reason I ask is because I'm seriously considering it! My biggest issue is eating out and we all know that if we on our way home from the mall or whatever, there's KFC and Burger King, and geez all kinds of places that serve "MEAT" around! Ugh its so depressing :o*(

  • Thank you for sharing you helped me complete my shopping list!

  • wheres the bread?

  • your hair is gorgeous!!!!

you are beautiful the way you are!!

but keep up the good work ;]

  • thanx for sharing going on a diet on the 5 of march and ran across this video a lot of your tips will be very helpful getting my ducks in a row planning i'm on my way!!!!!!!!!!!

  • sweet tips

but babe PLZ cut down on the processed/canned/packaged "faux" foods because of the salt artificial colors flavors and preservatives ...

just sayin ALWAYS opt for fresh foods :)

  • I don't know if you know this about Splenda, but the artificial nature of the chemicals mixed with your natural digestive chemicals turns the Splenda into small doses of Chlorine. Equal is the same way but it's turned into trace amounts of the poison used to kills mice and rats.

If you have to use something other than real sugar..please consider Truvia. It's a natural plant derived sweetner with little to no calories per packet. It's so much better for your body to use natural products.

  • @Christopherslady

it also destroys ure metabolism i did a report on artificial sweeteners when i went on my all "light" or 0 cal diet and gained weight! i was like hell no!! sucralose and aspartame and acuflame k and neotame are the worst that ive tried im sure theirs more tho they also were making me bloated and giving me terrible headaches later i found their terrible for ure brain and can cause tumors if had it excess obviously but thats all i was consuming then! no more of that for me lol

  • @arrow909 indeed...Natural substitutes are always the best way to go!!! Honey is another great sub for sugar in teas and hot cereals.

  • @Christopherslady

Does Truvia taste better than Stevia?

  • You are such an inspiration. I'm 5'3" and about 179lbs., and i need to lose weight for my health . Your videos show me that I CAN do it if I just put my mind to it and work hard. Thank you for sharing with us!

p.s. i love your hair and makeup!

    p.p.s. i subbed!

  • hey just discovered your videos, very inspitional.i have lost 4 stone over the last two yrs (56lbs) and want to lose another stone and a half (21lbs).at 5'11 i think i hold it ok but it does get harder the closer to your goal you get.just want to comment and say thanks for the inspiration x

  • If you're a vegetarian that eats fish, it means you're a pescetarian, I am one too :)

  • Like your video; however you do eat a lot of PROCESSED foods. I can understand since you are a doctoral student and processed foods do save time BUT most have too much sodium and/or sugar.

  • I love your videos! thank you for sharing!

  • Vegan/vegetarian with occasional fish - way to go!

  • @doaplu that's like saying vegan/vegetarian with occasional fish -way to go!

  • I am SO impressed by your honesty and inspiration for all people who are looking to loose weight. Thank you for your posts! You should definitely write a book, or do a series yourself. You are so real and personable!!! Thanks for your help!!

  • Good video and advice. You might consider yourself a pescaterian vs a vegetarian. In viewing your video you do eat fish. Congrats on your weightloss.

  • you are amazing!!! thank you. I got that exercising alot is key to losing weight.

  • Who really cares about labels??? vegetarian, lacto vegetarian, pescatarian....does it really matter? She is sticking to what she planned and is doing a great job!

  • Hello beautiful, yes you are beautiful inside and out, because you care enough to share with the world how you lose your weight.. I think everyone is missing the big picture here, she loss the weight and she did by working hard. People you have to change your mindset first when it comes to eating, and you have to be consistent with exercising. you can not just exercise twice or three times a week for weight loss, you would have to increase your routine to four-six times if you are serious.

  • It made me lol that the only thing she cares to be organic is her tofu. If research soy products, you'll see the irony in this lol.

  • I love those Vegetarian Baked Beans. I choose those over regular beans any day.

  • I'm trying to convert to vegetarian. It's so hard having grown up eating meat and living in a house full of meat eaters not being able to buy my own groceries. (I'm 17, and live in my moms house with 4 other family members..)

  • @MrszRenaissance eat only RAW foods for a whole week. You won't even THINK about meat. Its really not hard. Get your mind out of the idea that you have to add meat for a meal to be complete.

  • @quitejaded thanks, will try!

  • You say your a vegetarian but true vegetarians don't eat fish it is still flesh now pescatarians do eat fish.Just trying to enlghten you. Peace & Love

  • Wow! I eat some of the same things except for tofu, however, all things considered these food products are delicious and filling, now to just get back into my regimen of moving my butt-lol

  • I do appreciate what you are doing. What I was trying to convey is the fact that there are some ingredients that as a vegetarian you should know about. I my self am muslim and I don't eat any red meat or pork. Also I read every ingredient that I put in my body as well as my children. If you look at the ingredients you will see pork disguised in many different words. Just trying to help you out not trying to put you down.

  • Just to let you know that pudding that you are eating has an ingredient called gelatin which is ground up pig bone that is turned into gelatin.. I just wanted to let you know that since you say you are vegetarian.

  • @laurawalten just so you know there is a difference between vegetarians and vegans. I myself am a vegetarian. There is also a whole other categorization for the different types of vegetarians. Just appreciate what this woman has done for herself. : )

  • I don't eat meat, and all use is Splenda and the special k bars are good lol

  • I'm actually really interested in what you eat, I have a really bad memory though, would you mind writing down somewhere what kinda food you involved in the video? I don't need to lose weight, but I would like to maintain this weight for as long as I can, and I always have trouble grocery shopping. Thank you ^-^

  • Lupe fiasco in the background music. yup, now youre really hot. lol

  • Good job!

  • go girl go!

  • you ever tried drinking, almond, rice or coconut milk? its great, i dont drink the cow stuff lol!! thought maybe i can squeeze that in...keep up the good work, oh coconut oil is great too, a couple of tablespoons a day is great, you can google it and check it out...peace

  • and if you eat eggs and fish how is that vegetarian?

  • @QKalani When you dont eat things that come from an animal such as eggs, milk or cheese that makes you vegan. A vegetarian just doesnt eat meat e.g. steak or chicken x

  • @asswhole239 i know.. that's why i was asking; she did, however, clarify that she's a pescatarian (which still doesn't explain the milk and eggs but w.e).

  • what do u put on your food like ur greens

  • You are so adorable. Congrats on your weight loss. You're so enthusiastic and motivating. I've got 60 pounds t lose, but I can never stick to a diet. I'll keep trying. Seeing all the variety of healthy food you keep around gives me some ideas.

  • This is really good to see all the food examples that you have. Your enthusiasm is really motivating

  • I feel like I can do this.....you're so inspirational. You've motivated me so much, so I know I can lose this weight and keep it off. I keep telling myself it's a life choice and I'm not getting younger, so I need to start now. Thanks so much!!!

  • You're adorable! I love you :D Congrats on your successes!

  • Thanks for posting your tips, it's been very helpful and motivating!! Keep sharing, and maybe share recipes next time??

  • Great job on the weight loss and the healthier lifestyle.

I think those tripping about the can foods. They are veggies in the end so chill; however the eggs, cheese and cottage cheese do count as animal by products so she isn't a vegetarian. It's great that she doesn't eat meat though.

  • @nell99 Well she pescetarian...a vegetarian that eats fish...and a vegans doesnt eat the animal by product vegetarians do.

  • @MrsGray1987 Yes I am aware of the type of vegetarian she considered herself to be, which is why I didn't mention the fish. When I initially researched vegetarian type eating I was also under the impression that vegetarians could eat eggs, cheese etc. However once I got with nutritionist I found out that true vegetarians eat no animal by products , and vegan only eat foods that come from the earth. Definitions aside its good whatever we take out or add to our diet to make it better.

  • @nell99 an ovo-lacto vegetarian diet includes both eggs and dairy products, look it up. Either way she did/is doing great

  • @MrsGray1987 I am aware of the many specifics names that have been implemented in order to make room for those who add or take away certain items. They will be adding names to the end of time. As I said before what really matters is what we add or take away from our diet to make it better. Defitions for one or two items at the end of the day don't matter.

  • @nell99 Im not under any "impression"

  • Thanks so much for showin' the inside of your fridge and the kinds of food you eat. It's great to see that you can eat a combination of fat free and normal foods (smaller portions of course) and still lose weight because I love me some Frosted Flakes lol. Most importantly, you do what works for you which I like.

  • I'm amazed! Half of that stuff I wouldn't even consider eating. It's far more inspiring than you know!

  • very helpful. Thank you and congrats on keeping it off!!

  • Well I'm proud for what u have done and hopefully I loose weight as well with these tips ok thnks

  • You know that I am proud of you, this is Tai from work.... all your videos are an inspiration and I am hoping that I can lose at least 50-70lb. by May next year... it's a goal of mine but of course many small steps to get to the big step.... ;)

  • do you do low fat cooking videos? i would love to see what foods you prepare

  • hey honey, I'm not trying to be rude but you are a pescatarian, not a vegetarian.

  • I really like your video :) Even if you're not trying to lose weight, you gave some great food ideas to just keep healthy! Thanks.

  • This is not a criticism, just a FYI. If your a vegetarian, you should know that Yoplait yogurt and several others use Gelatin and Rennet that is pork/beef based in their product. You also need to be careful with cheese products and chocolates. They are sneaky with how they use animal byproducts in food you would not expect. If you have a food allergy like I do, this causes bloating, rashes and asthma. When my nutritionist and Dr helped me weed out the animal byproducts I lost 20 pounds.

  • morning star veggie sauage patties 80 cal. for two they are frozen so look for them and the other veggie stuff !! go to about. com for vegetarian stuff and vegetarian time`s .com I hope this will help you . !! garden burgers brand so many other you don`t have to join but check it out. !!

  • vegetarian is yummy vegan too !!

  • What about veggie burgers?

  • I am proud of you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! u r a beautiful and strong woman keep doing your thing Lady......

  • I think she eats a bit too much packaged, boxed, and canned food... but if it works for her, that's all that matters.

  • About how long did it take you to lose the 80 pounds?

  • for people who follow your videos wed like to see before and after pictures. were you really big or just a little chunky

  • I just recently started my weight loss program. My goal weight is 135. We'll see how it goes. But this video was really helpful. There were a lot of changes that I didn't think I would have to make, but I will definitely have to make them in order to make this work. Quick question, what did you use to do your hair? I love it!

  • oh I like those. I eat those vegetarian baked beans too.

  • Do you have any recipes, esp. with the tortillas? When you are at a social function, how do you continue to eat healthy?

  • PPL if you really want to lose weight you have to make a sacrifice. just like her I stopped eating mean, only grains, fruit, and veggies for 3 months and lost 50 lbs, with excerise. I have to be strict at first to make it work, bceause it does work.

  • I just watched your first one, and realized that you';re a vegetarian. :] so you just helped me out with that too! :D

  • You should really do eye shadow videos your eyes are very Pretty

  • so you're a pescatarian, not a vegetarian....

  • THANKS THE VIDEO HELPS,I THINK IM ON THE RIGHT TRACK I JUST GOTTA GET THE EXERCISE ALOT MORE I DONT DO IT VERY OFTEN I GET BORD AT TIMES

  • have you ever thought of doing a review on being a vegetarian....i tried that life style for about a month but i gained weight cuz i ate tons of pasta i felt lost in the kitchen, and good reading material plus sometimes my nephew comes to visit me and he and my sister are veg- so when you got people visiting you for a weekend or whatever..its kinda hard to be a good hostest when your not sure what they eat....hope this makes sense...thanks for the video very informative

  • You have SO many different things to choose from in the US..!

Over here (in Norway) we haven´t got anything! Seriously.. We don´t even have low fat cottage cheese.. Ugh..

  • Thanks! Your dieting tips are affordable for the everyday man and realistic!

  • i love talapia i make it atleast 4 times a month and omg you have michelina's too my boyfriend eats those thing for lunch religiously lol

  • Excellent info-thanks!

  • go vegan heathy girl take that bod mind and soul to the next level...check it out!

  • thanks so much for sharing this..your so beautiful and I appreciate all that youve shared..

  • A cool motivational person for people who are health conscious would be Dan the life re-generator...check him out. He has his own channel here on youtube.

  • my favorite juice is Spinach, carrots and apples...yum. Everyday and loaded in minerals and vitamins. You should go get coconuts and oranges and make a coconut-orange smoothie in your blender..too good yum yum!

  • Thsi is a cool video very motivational and good for someone trying to loose weight. Gives good great ideas for someone to start their journey. I am a vegan and a good sub for the parkay would be soy garden or Earth balance. When I first became a vegetarian I ate canned food and then began to eat fresh steamed vegetables and then moved completely to raw veggies and fruits. I then bought a juicer and then made green juices.

  • Jealousy is so unattractive. Get up and go do something yourself....if not then shut up!!! Do your thing BBB! I am proud to see that you are consistent, and haven't allowed the weight to creep back up. I pray you continue using your experience to be a blessing to others!!!

  • @harrah5 It depends on how you take the information. As someone who lost fifty pounds and still have more to lose, the best thing a person trying to lose weight can do is look at how skinny people are eating and emulate that.

  • Thank you for sharing!

  • hello, do you drain your canned veggies if they don't have seasoning in them. You have to be careful with the sodium. I am glad for you and hope that those 80 pounds are still off. I have been watching my fiber intake and my children have'nt complained about the 100% wheat bread and the wheat pasta. Please stay encouraged, thanks for being an encouragement.

  • YUM i love vegetarian baked beans =]

  • WOW! Girl you are amazing! This vid along with ALL your others are so informative. I am going to continue to go natural, and drop some pounds! You are such an inspiration my dear sis!

  • so what does a typical day look like for you, besides putitng fish with veggies for dinner, just curious?

  • thankssssssss for this.. im 5'4 and 175lbs...im tryin to be 130 a healthy weight for my height

  • I love those Lean Gourmet meals especially the shrimp scampi, its dirt cheap, it fills you up, and its not that unhealthy.

  • do you count calories now?

  • why are you people criticizing this woman when obviously she has had tremendous progress. She eats in moderation and keeping it off so I say congrats! She showed some good stuff that are great alternative to other fattening foods. Thanks for posting! :-)

  • @lilchanchan864 Sometimes people just hate on others becuz they wish they could do the same thing. This woman is awesome. I love that she was able to lose that weight and maintain it. SHE LOOKS FABULOUS! Hair is beautiful, skin is FLAWLESS! I love that she doesn't do all this complicated stuff. What she showed is relatively inexpensive to do. She has some great tips. She's beautiful and healthy so haters can continue to hate. I am sure she doesn't care.

  • @theburg727 You are so right, she is such a beautiful woman and a great inspiration. :-)

  • I find that when you put the spinach in one of those Gladlock Tupperware containers (with the blue lid), they last longer than keeping them in the bag. :^)

  • since you eat fish i think you would be classified as a pescetarian rather than a vegetarian i think

  • Hello everyone I have to eat a certain way for health reasons this is a necessity for me. but some products that i like to eat are kashi products are excellent! from their cereals to the cookies. soy icecreams are another product that is good for when you are craving sweets. and people always explore herbal teas green tea jasmine tea white tea rooibos tea these are excellent teas to drink these teas fight viruses bacteria go and do your research people and always include your multivitamins

  • i agree kashi cereal is very good and so is yo soy organic icecream!

  • well its good to get a response. Hello how are you doing? By the way what nationality are you?. if you dont mind me asking.

  • this is kind of misleading... those yogurts, puddings, fruit snacks contain gelatin (which is not a vegetarian ingredient) and those canned products are extremely high in sodium.

therefore, i will caution the people watching this video because while most of these products are low in fat they are high in other things, i.e, sugar and sodium and we know tht HTN is a killer amongst blacks.

HEALTHY EATING IS HAVING A VARIETY OF FOODS IN YOUR DIET, NOT ISOLATING FOOD GROUPS.

  • @8NeNaBeNa8 This is true. I watched this video and found it to be very inspiring, simply because I had yo-yo'd for years, and finally found success with eating less preservatives and a varied diet, blew the fat-free myth off the charts.

  • Excellent Video! Thanks for sharing what you eat...It was really helpful for me...

  • Have you tried frozen yogurt. it tastes just like ice cream but better. Yum!!! :P

  • she lost 80 lb's.......nuff said! With any advice, though, its important to research and not use what you dont need. Like the old folks say "spit the bones out". She still has good stuff in the video:)

  • ur telling the truth

  • @ingakaz1 There is so much information on what is healthy eating these days. I guess she is following a low fat plan. It has work for her and her weight loss goals, do I will not complain. For me, low fat did not work. I cannot eat so much sugar and refined carbohydrates. I guess it is what fits you. I agree the less processed the better. More whole grains, fresh (or frozen) fruits and vegetables, nuts/seeds, lean meat, legumes and natural healthy oils.

  • This video really helped me alot. Can't wait to go grocery shopping now!! LOL :)

  • Thank you so much for sharing what you did to lose weight. I ordered slim in 6 video and should receive it today. I took notes of the videos you watched and the books you used. Will look up on the videos you recommended. Thanks again so much.

  • Hello girl, I am back following your tips and listening to your experiences. I was trying to be transformed like your good self but I had to have a major operation last year and now I am fully recovered, I am back on the case started watching your videos from the beginning. I will be taking photos of my progress and who knows, I may be the UK version of you!!!

  • Ok so I definitely have a question, it seems like you may snack as well, but how many times did you snack a day? Also how many meals did you eat a day? Would it be possible if you could put an example of what a typical day would look like after you daily workouts. I would really appreciate, I just want to get an idea, especially if you take measuring your food important. Thank you!!!

  • Wow, you look so fabulous and you actually eat things I don't allow myself to eat on my regimen!

5 Stars and a major THANK YOU for sharing!

    Cheers & Blessings,

    Deb

  • Were you ever plus size or just a little bit chunky?

  • she mentioned in her first video she was size 16-18..plus size

  • Oh, okay. Thanks for the info.

  • I really enjoyed your video! Thanks for the inspiration... :) I'm trying to lose 100 pounds this year and am making my own video journals. I hope I can have your level of success. You rock!

  • Hi this was a great video I wanted to know what it is in the Nasoya I am working on becoming a vegetarian I already have cut out pork and beef I eat most turkey and I still do eat the whole egg. Just curious to know what's in the Nasoya?

  • Hey how do u know how much u are or going to eat that day how many calories are u taking in now and how many did u take in when u lost the 87lbs

  • Eat real food, not processed crap. They fill it full of salt and sugar, which is addicting!

  • Thanks for this! Can you do a vid on some recipes, i'm thinking of becoming a vegetarian as well.

  • thank you, I needed this inspiration!!!

  • Me sorprende porque es pura comida enlatada, no habia lgo natural por ahi?

  • hey forget the food lol ur very pretty

  • Hate to tell you this, but yoplait is not vegetarian. it has gelatin in it which is made out of animal bones and etc. Some people don't really care about that, but I thought I'd tell you in case you didn't know. Still, you're a true inspiration to me. Keep it up! :)
