@superdave31 Apple didn't have a real OS at the time. If things hadn't been the way they are now, Windows could have been running on Mac for quite some time.

Not many was, but the Apple ][ was incredible for its time: color, graphics, sound, upper/lower case, room for seven/eight expansion cards, even today it is amazing.

I found a "continuity glitch".

The apple ][s at this show would have been the original rev of the Apple ][, the power indicator was raised like a regular key.

These look like Apple ][ plus models (1979), with a 'flat' power lamp.

Microsoft and apple where not even close to rivals as microsoft producet almot of the programs to the apple back then. Microsoft was the first software companie in a time that ppl didnt even knew what that meaned

Good point. Actually thinking about it Microsoft did the BASIC interpreter..So why did he introduce himself at the show or should this demonstration really be the Apple 1 and NOT the Apple 2?

I'm not quite sure but I think the first Apple][s had integer basic, a basic created by Apple (not Applesoft).

Dude this movie sucked really bad. They tried to take the formula from the triumph of the nerds documentary and over dramatise everything. Sucky actors over acting are rampant.

It was an awesome movie. I remember reading that Woz watched it and said that it wasn't 100% historically accurate, but they nailed the personalities of Gates and Jobs.
