Tacoma vs Frontier

Nice trucks! I ain't too familiar with Nissan, but that Frontier looked like a T100 from behind with the black/gray stripe on the tailgate. Hoping to get a Tacoma soon, or a Frontier, don't really matter.

my frontier was a pos compared to my 96 3.4 v6 tacoma,06 4.7 tundra or 4.0v6 2012 4runner the 01 sc if it hit anthing deep the supercharger would suck up water like a shop vac it had 33in tires short bed 4dr ya i had good times in it but the open diff blew @#$% my tundra has lsd rear, tacoma locking rear,and 4 runner lsd and about 10 other settings i havent figured out yet lol and all three woulda blew the fuckin doors off the frontier.

Yea, they are 2wd. Take a 4wd, remove the front wheel drive parts, put in a longer tranny, and you get a prerunner *something like that*.

@TheFreakyfixed87 Prerunners are rear wheel drive, but they have a locking rear differential, so you get twice the traction.  Still not as good as a 4x4.

@fast328 Actually, only the v6 TRD Offroad prerunners have the locking diff. This one is a 4 cylinder with a standard open diff.

Great vid, It made me miss my 98 fronty. I took that thing in puddles that would surge onto the hood and headlights went under.NEVER STALLED OUT.

AND NO SNORKLE. miss it... sniffs.....

@jakewoodstock i used to have a 98 too, 4x2. loved that thing. i put it through hell and back and was still runnin strong a 220000, other than the stock clutch. that thing was about gone.

I love my 04' Frontier. I can drive in the snow in the VA mountians and not even have to put it in 4x4.
