Um, I saw great acting in Transformers, Shia LaBeouf, John Turturro, and Kevin Dunn acted superbly - and note, these aren't unknown actors by any means. In fact it seems that Bay relied on not only special affects to help a flimsy script, but excellent actors who's performance could be enjoyed in the midst of a flimsy script. Megan did her part.
