Hey I recorded myself doing this same exercise! check it out on my channel, and let me know what you think! thanks! btw awesome job man! i can vouch that this is no sissy workout!
SPDY56. WHERE CAN I FIND THE MUSIC TO THIS? thnkz. YOU DO NEED TO KNOW HOW TO PROPERLY LOAD AND UNLOAD THE KETTLEBELL. STILL LOVE THE WORKOUT,ITS FANTASTIC. AND I'M 54
Hi! Just trying to get the word out that theres an app for this workout in the android market now! :) Search for "Blood and sand workout timer", good luck with the progress all! :)
It's been awhile since you've posted this video and I wanted to know how successful you thought the workout was after 10 -12 weeks? I'm a gym rat who eats healthy and my physique has become stagnant. Hoping this will cause a shock to my system. Regardless, thanks for posting the video.
@iExpend I didn't do this workout for 2-3 months every week, the two vids are the only time I did it, it was just to see if I improved in it while doing my regular barbell, kettlebell training which doesn't include most of these exercises. Wanted to see if my training would carry over into something different and still be effective.
love this workout! I feel i get more out of it then p90x. Doesn't take long, build up a great sweat. works just about all the muscles you want to workout, especially legs.
@BubleJazz I drink lots of water 2L+ a day. Eat 3-4 meals a day full of carbs and protein. With each meal I try to eat veggies and snack on fruit during the day. No I don't drink protein powders or take any other supplements.
@CMAstudios all the exercises will work with dumbbells except for the swing, what you can do to improvise is tie a towel around it to offset the center of mass and you should get the same effect as a kbell swing.
It would be good for you for a course in my humble RKC funds on the basis of my knowledge.
Unfortunately, more and more people believe that this is a video, you can learn so very wrong.
People in the video can not correct the errors in what you then moves belli motor commit until a halt while the body is not you have a pleasant form of injury.
The house is constructed starting with the basics ... you can put in the lion's mouth to the head cell something:)
@dosuva I would love to see an RKC instructor but they are always downtown and expensive, being a broke student and living out of town I don't have the time or money, one day i will though :)
Watch the balls on the dumbbell swing. I found that out the hard way. And believe me when I say, I'd rather gouge my eyes out and skull fuck myself than ever do that again.
@frogman2324 same as far as i know, there's this guy called funk roberts who did his own variation of it, he turned it into a 1 month program where each week it changes, find him on youtube or spartacusworkout (DOT) com
@id0stuff when using weights it is safer to lift the weight up and do the T pushup, dont do the sway because it could lead to severe injury if you lost balance.
@calicom110 yep, you are right, it is up and down. makes it a heck of a lot easier but I still like the other one, don't see any danger in it when using such light weight.
sure, to make the db feel more like the kbell tie it to a towel to displace the center of gravity, just make sure its sturdy so you wont hit your legs.
Great video. The workout looks real good. I was looking for a routine and you got one. Thank you for sharing this vd with us. William. Keep working out
i was interested in knowing where you got the music. Is the music we hear in the video the same as what you workout to? I do interval training with kettlebells and would like to get some of this music. Also wanted to know what books or vids you had used for kettlebells. Lastly, where did you buy your kettlebells?
the soundtrack for the workout was from workoutmuse(doc)com the link is in the description, usually you have to pay and register on their site to create such soundtracks but they were offering this one for free, I usually just use a gym boss timer. I used materials from pavel tsatsouline, jordan vezina (he has a YT channel as well), steve maxwell, kenneth jay, other random vids on YT.
Just as an observation. You should use your hips a lot more with the KB swings and 'explode" with then. The same could be said for your lunges, get some airtime when you come up. Saying that, I'm doing this workout as well 3 times a week and it is brutal. Good luck
thanx, i'll do this workout again 4-5 weeks from now again using the same weights, by that time I should have done more training with double kb drills and finished Insanity and should do overall well hopefully.
@joshgates81 no they shouldn't. Over the head is only a crossfit thing. Neither RKC nor GS go higher than parallel to the ground. If you want to go overhead just snatch the damn thing :)
you could do it 3 times a week, 2 times light and 1 time weight if you want. for ex. go low on the weights and do monday and wednessday, then go heavy on saturday if you wish to make this workout your main training method, for me personally it was more of a challenge which i will revisit in a few months again and see how i improved.
yowww dude is this for cardio endurance and stamina?

Qdegree 1 year ago
@Qdegree are they adjustable (screw on ones) like mine? I just tighten them hard and they stay on with no rolling.
