If reports of Chip Tatum's death are true, do you ever wonder what became of the 6 copies of the tape (presumably full of damaging and incriminating information) he presented to George H. Bush as an "insurance policy" for the continued safety of himself and his family? My hunch is those entrusted with their safekeeping understand fully that releasing them would be extremely hazardous. I always come across comments that he was killed and tortured, but when I search the web for a source I don't get any news articles, or anything official apart from comments on forums (which also have no source). How do people know that he died when it's impossible to find a report on his death?

But where are people getting the news about him being tortured and his body washing up somewhere in South America from? I also want to make clear that I am not questioning Tatum's credibility here. I know that he was telling the truth and was exactly who he claimed to have been. I'm just curious how people get these details about his death from when there's nothing written about it.

@st1ckycheese, yeah actually i did find some info on chips death when i Google it, but as you said its not official news reports. Just various info from websites stating what you already heard. That chip was killed and his body washed up, apparently with "no face". I also have heard it stated by another very reliable source (Mike Ruppert). @zk92000 Thank you. Ruppert stated in one of his videos that nobody has heard from Tatum for a while, and it was nice to finally hear a journalist confirm this. Still can't find the source of his body being found with his face removed, though. I just do't understand how this got out there.
