Amazing interview, thanks so much for sharing. LJ is a great interviewer too, letting the subject speak and not stepping all over him or interrupting him.
Great stuff - I humbly suggest all Alan Moore fans (and fans of good things) check his magazine - Dogem Logic now on Issue 5 - it full of comics, art by Kevin O'Neill, free stuff (CDs, posters, a large pin-up model transfer tattoo amongst them so far!) and great articles on everything from politics to music to rice pudding recipes - its alot of fun plus plenty of eye-opening serious articles from Moore and plenty of others - its great, look it up
Master Alan Moore, he is the one who took me away from the laziness of philistinism and brought to the tender and never-ending beauty of intellectualism. The world of ideas.
He speaks more about the Bürrows (sorry if i'm spelling wrong, i saw this spelling in the Mindscape Doc), and the funny thing is that the place is very similar to the small town my dad grew up, in the Country (here in Brazil)... The way of life is very similar and slowly, funny to say that even if there are thousand of miles of distance... And the Bürrows (again, i hope i'm writing correctly) is the name of my first rock band.. strange coincidence...
Money ain't everything, as should be perfectly apparent from the very fact that Alan Moore is giving this interview instead of attending some flashy premiere.
Art,
Priciples,
Friends.
What's Hollywood got? Cash and artistic degeneracy.
Really nice, I really like just having a basic interview with Moore by the people who probably know the man better than anyone else locals of the Northhampton community instead of the whole comicbook media machine,
Thank you so much for those who uploaded this Alan Moore interview. He is an inspiration.

outspoken and well spoken, you bet, and sharp and useful to others, not kind

So I'm not the only one who did that with toy soldiers? I feel a little relieved. Ha-ha.
Watching him talk is like watching Spalding Grey talk. Too bad I'll never meet either one of them.

I always loved Alan Moore but always seem him as this kind of disturbed figure; demonic in a sense
See this has actually shown me that he is a really sound guy
...Never judge a book by its cover I guess lol

I know what you mean, I remember looking at the back of Watchmen and first idea that popped my head was Charles Manson.

I never really got to find out. Met her in a party... 8 thrusts and it was over.
Literally 8.

too bad he hasn't taken a single cent of profit from the V for Vendetta movie, and he isn't getting any from The Watchmen either.
