Well, people don't buy sports car for fuel economy. No one looks at a Ferrari and goes, "man, I hope that gets decent mileage." It's a trade off. The RX isn't as bad at gas as some people make it out to be - I'd say close to either a big V6 or small V8, but it's got matching power, so it's to be expected.

I love the RX-8, but I ended up getting a truck... which eats more gas... but on the bright side it's fast(in a straight line) and I can pull around my boat and carry cargo.

I wish they sold aussie pickups in Canada, they have sporty ones.

I actually had sold my truck as I had no real need for it, so the RX isn't as big of a deal on gas to me since I'm used to it. Vauxhall I think makes an interesting truck car thingy.
