Soul Coughing opened for Jeff Buckley @ First Ave MPLS, MN. One of the greatest concerts I have ever witnessed, and I've been to too many to remember.
I got to see these guys at 1st ave in Minneapolis in 97. Went to 2 of the 4 nights they played there. Still best concert that I have seen. Wish I could have gone to all 4. Thanks for introducing me to these guys cooter RIP
I got to see these guys live and morphine on seperate occasions. Both were excellent shows but 16 horsepower blew Morphine off the stage. Check them out if you dont know. Morphine was one of my favorite bands at the time!
Thanks so much for the clip. I love these guys so much and I never got to see them live. I had tickets to my dream concert, Soul Coughing and Morphine, in 1999, but a few weeks before, Mark Sandman died on stage in Italy, the tour was canceled, and the next year Soul Coughing broke up. So sad. I wish they would do a reunion tour.
Glad dude is still alive, looking pretty banged up here.

These guys were vastly underrated. Just like two other 90s bands; Morphine and Afghan Whigs

@71savages Soul Coughing and Afghan Whigs - no doubt!
