I play that song in marching band. Along with Beetlejuice and PeeWee. Its really fun marching and playing it. I play flute also. This is my fourth year. GOOD JOB ALSO, IT WAS VERY PRETTY. I wish i sounded that good.

loving the cardigan, you are living up to a fine british tradition. :) i tried to play this in this key but the fingering is hard for me as ive only had my flute for a week.......ill learn some more fingerings i think...any advice for practicing chromatic runs?

@sacredgeometry There are great fingering charts online you can find (just google them) and then practice starting on the flutes middle C and going down chromatically to the G, then back up. Keep doing this until it sounds good then try again and again going down to F, E etc until you can play it all. This does just take practice and I still hope to improve a lot!

@owenleansflute thank you for the advice, i have pretty much got it in one octave its just the swtich to the next i need to practice. Yeah i have found some great charts :) Why do you suggest to only go to g and not all the way up to the next c... out of interest.

@BooRadlicious I've been learning Suite de Trois Morceaux by Godard and Poulenc's sonata for flute. I was waiting to see how the reaction to this video would be to see if it's worth recording them :)
