I would say don't even bother. if your rabbit is housed within a cage, put a small litter box in there, so the animal can get use to it. no need to coerce him or her inside, she will figure it all out. (may even use it as a bed!) eventually, given maybe.. a year or two, your rabbit will have better bowel control, so the hop-n-poops won't be so bad.

diapers are 100% unnecessary for rabbits unless they are disabled and unable to facilitate bathroom needs properly.

in the mean time, litterbox.
