they are called diamond intakes... to help with stealth believe it or not

It doesnt help with stealth because this plane isnt a stealth plane it just helps reduce the RCS and to increase air intake.

the Diamond Intakes help lower the radar cross section, making it look like a smaller aircraft. stealth aircraft do the same. the B-2, F-22. etc. they look like birds on the radar. their airframe designs lower the RCS.

the F/A-18E - F does the same. just not as much as an effect.

Yeah i know that what i just said. What i was trying to get across was that you said it helps with the stealth of the aircraft, that would be true is it was something like the F22 no right angles and it has with Radar absorbing paint on it to be stealthly so all of those things "helps" with the stealth. If its a plane which is not a stealth aircraft then saying its dimond intakes helps with its stealth would be incorrect.
