Real singers cannot win talent contests which are decided by teenagers multi-voting for an act that reminds them of someone they already like. In the UK "winning" the X Factor has been the worst result. Coming somewhere in the top four is the best step to real-world success. Josh is a truly blinding star, a natural-born great singer/songwriter/musician, and a genuine nice guy. He will be at the top of his trade for years.

@Bakit07 Winning a $5 million recording contract does not put more than about $1 million in the "winner's" account. Those $5 million have to cover all the costs of recording, manufacturing, promoting and selling an album. It's nowhere near as generous as people think.

He didn't lose. He won. He made us see that an artist is more thhan a fancy face, he showed the real spirit of music. If the judges thought he deserved a second place, i completly disagree. Josh is a growing super star...

Josh was incredible!!!! But I am so disappointed he did not win. He is awesome! BUT - what is UP WITH that stripper "Amsterdam hooker in the window" snowglobe in the background? WTF?
Maybe it is better that Josh did not "win" because he won't have to be stuck with those morons who make those awful choices..... GO JOSH!! YOU are a WINNER!!!!!
