Don't worry about the 9999 trio thing. The idea of NSG is to not use the sphere grid and mixing items isn't using the sphere grid so you haven't broken the rules. Also, the fact that you managed to defeat the dark aeons in NSG mode makes you number one at this game in my opinion.

not really, some bosses liek Seymour Flux or Yunalesca may pose you a threat but not otherwise, because armors in this game do not increase defense, and weapon do not increase attack/magic...

NSG just means he didn't use the sphere grid once to power up. Trio of 9999 can be mixed. Just find the right combo.

There is actually a guy who beat Shinryu in a NSG game... jihoon4242 if curious. I don't know if he somehow hacked the game so Shinryu only used its claw attack, but still he beat it. As I said, hacking is probably possible so I'm not gonna belive he did it with a fair game, but it's still pretty cool. Just posted this because you said it will never happen.

Kay, so... Def+20%, HP+30%, Auto-Phoenix, and Sleepproof should do the job, right? Supplement that with an early Hyper Mighty Guard and a Stamina Tonic, and just use an Aeon to take the Overdrives. I think that oughta work.

If you have the pal or national version then you don't need to cheat to beat the final bosses.

If you train for the dark aeons then you get powerful (Did not completethe s.grid or d.aeons) and you can take seymour and jecht out. Truth be told I expected something with 10* more power and durability. 5 hits to take down jecht, 2 for the first, 3 for the second.

One of my favorite bosses next to the ones wiht Seymour. XD I love the fight wit the Aeons at the end. It didn't take me long to beat him. All I used was just Yuna, Auron, and Tidus. Yuna had all Magic and they had their weapons that sped their Overdrive Up quickly.

this is one of the easiest bosses in all of the FF series....if you're prepared.

I beat this boss in 4 moves - all i did was use Yojimbo twice, he hit for 99999 both times and it was over.

If you hit twice for 99,999, then you didn't win. The second form has 120,000 hp. Also, BFA is one of the hardest bosses in the FF series. In OSGNSNTQNCW (basically, no sidequests or power-levelling), he is, in my opinion, more difficult than any of the arena creations, dark aeons, or Penance.

To answer your... numerous... comments:

1. Nothing is THAT difficult about NSGNSNTQ, but in my opinion, that should be the easiest genuine NSG challenge. Aeons and Trio make most bosses pathetically easy.

2. Fine. NSGNSNCNO BFA is **very difficult** if not impossible. I think (IIRC) you have to hope that BFA hits Auron more than anyone else...

3. When was NSG Shinryu defeated? Did this person just spam Dark Matter? And how would NSG Nemesis work?

2.The chances of beating BFA are around .25-.5%. I hope to beat him by the end of the summer. And you DON'T want him to hit Auron, or he will finish your party with a sword swipe.

3. Spam Trio, AR, BA... Use HMG in case he uses Shining and hope he doesn't use Eraser.

For Nemesis, get 2-3 aeons pretty strong, buff them up, shield every turn except after Ultra Spark. Dismiss every 8 turns for Armageddon and survive with HMG or a weak aeon.

The idea is to make him strong enough to survive Sword Swipe. Because of TYAKWLR priority, Auron will revive the party due to Auto-Phoenix and then heal himself on his turn. If Auron is hit by a Jecht Beam or an OD and the next turn BFA uses Sword Swipe, then it's basically game over.

It's one of the hardest variations of No Sphere Grid around.

NS: No Summons - so no Anima, Yojimbo, etc.

NC: No Customise. Brutally difficult for BFA.

NO: No Overdrives. So, no Trio! BOOO!

NE: No Escapes. Self-explanatory.

NNE: No 'No Encounters' equipment. Useless to have NE without NENNE, and vice versa.

NBB: No Blitzball, so you can't blitz for Dark Matters, etc. Makes the Seymour and Anima fight a PITA.

If you're wondering, BFA becomes impossible once you get to NSGNSNCNO. ^^

It means No Sphere Grid. I don't know what a Sphere grid is though, so I can't tell you. It might be how you level up your character in this game and make them stronger. Basically, this is a low-level run I suppose.

Exactly right. Whenever you "level up" you get points for the sphere grid and as you fill it up you get more stats and abilities. So if you never use the sphere grid you will be lvl 99 but will still have all base stats.
