hi there great video, how long did it take you to travel through the french canals, did you have your ICC cert. what sailing qualifications did you have. I am planning on getting a boat this summer currently doing day skipper. What pace did you take your journey. any other ideas greatly recieved. Thankyou. Jordan

About 7 weeks. However fast you go you wish you had taken longer but we had the incentive of the Med at the end.

You need ICC which is not difficult. Good luck

great holiday i see and good for kids education i wonder if you could let me know cost of going through the locks? is there a set cost can you buy ticket for all locks

There is no charge for locks but a permit is needed to use the canals. This is not very expensive as a 30 day license covers 30 individual days of actual being underway possibly over several months.
