  • 2:24 The ball was out. Doesn't count.

  • Chick : "How did You do that ?"

Derren : ( in his mind ) Would take too long to explain Blondie , never mind ..

  • Im more impressed by the bouncing ball trick at the end.

  • Guys this is not fucking hard at all. People who play racquetball and squash even recreationally can do the exact same thing.

  • audio editing...not tough at all....

  • this is impossible, and i'll tell you why.

He has no idea what spin she puts on the ball. Maybe you could do this if you knew every physical variable, but he doesn't!

The spin on the ball is part of the kinetic energy of the ball, it will throw everything off if it's not known. therefore, derren brown is just what his last name suggests, brown. as in shit. this is why i don't watch TV

  • @H2oRiz You must be an idiot. He never proclaims to have "special powers" or anything. In fact, he straight up tells you it's trickery. Do you realize how stupid you sound trying to disprove something that's clearly impossible. It's called a magic trick.

Derren Brown is a hero among skeptics as he's dedicated a lot to debunking people who claim to have "mystical" powers like psychics or mediums.

  • @frightenedsoul No, I did not realize how stupid I sounded. Thank you for pointing it out to me. I just watched a random video and summarized it in my mind. If he's such a great debunker, why is he trying to impress that girl with a trick and then doesn't correct her when she thinks he's amazing? It just looks like he's a fraud and that shit is confusing if he is who you claim he is.

  • @H2oRiz Because it's for a magic show and that's the whole point, to amaze people. This will probably amaze anyone the first time they see it, but you have to realize he is not claiming it's some sort of supernatural power he's using. It only looks like he's a fraud if he is claiming this, which he's not. This is a trick pretty easily explained.

  • @H2oRiz He's a boss and your an idiot

  • Number 37 is deeper than all other numbers... the ball automaticly goes to the deepest point on the field... you just have to do this less then 10 times to get a hit!

  • "nauee!" (no)

  • Just like a card trick, you ask enough people, you will get it right, that person will think your amazing, everyone else will think your useless.

  • Do it twice. Then I'll be impressed. It's just a trick.

  • @riddleman65 If its a trick then he can do it as many times as he wants, cant he?

  • @Nordb0nk

    Yes, it's a trick.

  • well, in fact I guess it could be a camera trick because you never see both of them at the same time with the same camera while the ball is thrown. The phrase "thirty-seven" is said without seeing the speaker.

  • he was just as surprised as her lol

  • "how did he do that?" it's easy when you have awakened

  • @Mrgyn Or it can be all just a chance. Possibility. Done with numerous amount of people. That's the genius of it, using chance to show how miracles in life work.

  • @YuneShik i think so, like the horse race system

  • So he did this trick a hundred times with a hundred different people. What we are seeing is take # 100

  • @brownbunny1000 Assuming the ball could land anywhere, doing the trick 100 times would only give him a 60% chance of correctly guessing on a single one of them. He'd have to do it about 450 times to get a 99% chance.

  • @radioelectric , Very good. Also then there would be all those wrong people out there going "I volunteered for that trick, he was way off!" It's not impossible (he has used the multiple tries technique before) but it's impractical with a big facility, production crew, and long process.

It's probably more physical manipulation. The ball only entered the court through a small area. The floor might be sloped toward a region, if only gently. With practice you could get positive bias on a call.

  • how are we sure he made a dot at that moment?

  • @mitsiee We watched him?

  • whats even more bewildering is how at the end that ball somehow disappears as he is bouncing it (3:26), i wish i could do that trick

  • @Gwambua lol, u seriously find that "more bewildering" than predicting the square.

  • @Mrgyn ... whats your opinion then dude?

  • @Mrgyn how then?

  • This is fucked up.. serious shit. I bet he mind controlled the ball.

  • magnets of course

  • Super Magnets

  • I heard about a father and son duo using this technic in the early 90s. After a couple of years leaving many casinos very rich, they where banned almost all over the world from entering a roulette game.

  • What?!? How?!? :O
