volvo does have the edge when it comes to driver amenities and ride, unless they changed the front suspension from what it used to be, but they fall short when it comes to feeling like your in a truck lol. dash is like a cars. as to the auto trans comments, imo its driver training/quality. cheaper not to replace clutches/drivelines. easier on driver too i guess but i've driven nothin but 18's for 27yrs so for me its the same as an auto heheheh. not commenting on poster of vid just in general

I got a 99 770 since it was new,once replaced the ecm(free)and never had big problems.I of course do not let small things get out of hand,It is the best truck one can ever have.

them Volvos are nice. They run like nothing else, but the electronics will go out fast as hell. had an 08 640 Volvo, and had 2 completely wiring harnesses put in within 4 months

i had a 08 volvo with xpress and it always kept braking down was the downside and i hated the automatic other then that it was a great truck tons of room alil to much room for me i lost my wallet for 2 hours in the sucker and i finally found it lol

Good luck driver, i had an 07 volvo 780 just like yours, 400 miles into the 1st run from STL to DEN cracked the damn turbo. got it back from volvo week n half later all was good. then 2 mths after that i was at a pilot down in KY at the 2 mile marker woke up next morning checked fuel level and i had prolly damn near a gallon of oil in my driverside fuel tank. called my company and told em to haul it to the yard. got in the drivers seat of a 379 pete and never looked back! good luck be safe!

Hey, ya it's got an air horn but it's a button on the steering wheel instead of having a cord or cable hanging down from the celing...kind of makes you feel cheated. LOL 😊
