Sigh. Such great memories. I took my daughters to see him in Victoria at Jazzfest just before this cd came out. They had no idea who jacksoul was, had never heard any of their songs, got pissed off waiting, but within 2 minutes they were right up at the stage bopping. SAw him again a couple of years later with Divine Brown at the Royal. What a talent. Love him. So sad. THe music lives on thankfully.
