Look, guys. Lelouch never got Charles's code. They're both dead. Charles died because the "God" erased him and Marianne in order to continue the flow of time. Lelouch died because he got stabbed. He could not have gotten the code because that would mean that he wouldn't have been able to use his Geass on Schniezel, Odysseus, Guinevere, Nunnally, the entire Britannian military, etc. If Lelouch DID survive, then the Zero Requiem would have been a failure, because they had to kill hatred/Lelouch.

@EdgeyvonKarma Actually, there is reason to believe the code doesn't activate until death. For example, when Lelouch used his Geass on his father, his father was completely under the effect of that Geass and then killed himself. He then came back to live with proof of the Code. Now, before you say Charles faked it, look back to when Lelouch tried to use Geass on C.C. It had no effect. When used on others, the red ring appeared in their eyes.

@FSNxCaster Hmm. That is a fair point. I never thought of that. However, I still contend that Lelouch didn't kill Charles, but the "God" did. Therefore, Lelouch couldn't have taken the code. Also, if Lelouch survived, then the Zero Requiem would have been undermined because there is simply no way he could have avoided being discovered by, well, ANYONE!

@EdgeyvonKarma Actually, I think all that had to happen for Zero Requiem to succeed was the -image- of his death. Whether it was real, or just a very good illusion, we'll never know.

I do know that if everyone -thinks- you are dead (and saw you die right before their eyes) it will be very easy to lay low and let everyone convince themselves that you really are dead... without having to die permanently.

Of course, I love Lelouch in a twisted & dark sort of way, so I'm a little biased ^_~* <3 <3

I personally loved the song, and to mix it with the series, code geass R2, is rather creative. The song does somewhat go along with the series, however I don't know if people will really connect with that. Reminds me that I might need to start Amving again. Bah! No matter, this is still a really good Amv.

the second eye just means that the person has enough power to take the Code, and become immortal (like Charles did with V.V.). And by becoming immortal, the person loses their Geass, like how C.C. lost hers.

2 Geass eyes is fully Evolved geass, which then allows you to take the code from a Code Bearer (C.C or V.V) Charles took V.V's code.

During the Ragnarok Connection(I like to think) Lelouch took Charles's Code. making himself a Code Bearer. (Altho this also is a bit flawed because from my understanding Code Bearers cannot USE geass, Yet Lelouch uses it multiple times)

The creator left it ambiguous. Lelouch might be dead or might not. Later on, presumably because he was tired of people arguing about it, he said that he believed Lelouch was dead. In the show however, it could have gone either way - it just depends on why exactly the 98th Emperor, Charles di Britannia, decided to fly over to Lelouch and wrap his hand around Lelouch's neck. Anger? Or did he know Lelouch would need the Code?

As for "Zero Requiem" - a "requiem" is a piece composed for someone's death. As Lelouch lay "dying", the Elevens chanted "Zero! Zero! Zero!" - that's what I've always believed the actions of the Zero Requiem were named for.

1. C.C doesnt talk about Geass in public, In the cart she does.

That makes no sense. Why would the nun try to kill someone she MADE immortal? A code has to be taken, not given. The nun fatally wounded CC so she had to take the code to stay alive. Then, finally free from the curse of immortality, she suicided. Mao was unable to fulfill his contract because he would never make it possible for CC to die. Charles was betrayed by VV, thus he had no qualms taking the code. Charles was just messing with Lelouch, else he would have obeyed and died.

Actually, that's wrong.. He never ordered the god to do anything like that. But, others argue that he did 'kill' Charles, and thus got his immortality. Well, of course, the immortality only works after you've been killed, as Lelouch found out by shooting Charles, so.. He 'died'. I don't know, i'd rather believe he's alive than dead and all, and hope there's another season. xP
