Actually recording a steady floor by floor explosion will record as a rumble because the decibels are too loud for the mic to record and will sound like a rumble. it's called clipping/distortion.. play into a microphone real loud and listen to it distort

Well the rumbling sound FOR CERTAIN was not a bomb because there were no explosives in the area. The rumbling was most likely large pieces of debris falling from one of the buildings of the WFC. There was no very noticeable sound on the camera, but there would be if it was a bomb or collapse. No buildings collapses after DAY 1. This was just debris falling from the heights of the WFC.
