  • I have driven this trail 5 times now, and I gotta say, towing a trailer on this route is QUITE the accomplishment. How far in did you go?

  • @gornoman

Thanks, We went back about ten miles or so, there is a campground in there somewhere. We went over to the confluence overlook, and also made a few trips through the stairs before hitting Moab proper.

  • Only for a week !

  • is that moab and is that a sport also wats in the trailer, campeing stuff.........

  • yep, just a little south of Moab in Canyonlands park. The trailer was full of camping gear, food, tools, etc. Weighed about 1k lbs full. I was the pack mule for a group of 15 people for a week long trip.

  • How did you manage the sharp turn out of the chute on the back side? Then the portion after the chute that you reverse down?

  • I never reversed, just turn as sharp as I could and forced it around the corners. This one was the first, so I didn't go as wide as I should have, the rest of the turns were easier (practice makes perfect).

  • Nice jeep, btw.

  • Quite possibly the funniest conversation ever. Haha...I understand the situation John!

  • Thanks. I enjoyed it :D

  • when u are at the bottom of that hill before u go up that little hill just hitch the back on to the jeep

  • I guess you had to be there.

  • well ya put it back on when u get back on level ground

  • Yeah, i unerstand that...so how do i get it to level ground...drag it up the hill with my hands? The only way that trailer will move up the hill is hitched to the Jeep.

  • sorry what do you put in the trailer??

  • Trailer was full of over a week supply of food and camp gear for 12 people. Tipped the scales at 1200 pounds.

  • what o you put in the Trailer??

  • if i were u i would take the trailer off and put it in 2wd and do a 180

  • How would I get the trailer up then??? It weighed over 1K pounds.

  • Thanks. That was me driving and my wife taping.

  • that must of took allot of paintents that was good, tell him he is a good driver
