@flag389 He doesn't kill the Man in Black. The studio wanted them to keep him alive so they could possibly bring him back in future sequels. In the original script though, Michael cuts his head off. The whole movie is a mess of what it was originally intended to be. They even filmed multiple endings, among other things.

@Clay3613 Sorry, dude. It's a face. Halloween 4's mask was without cheekbones and the eyebrows didn't slant toward the eye holes. Halloween 5's mask had a big nose. Halloween 6's mask was pretty scary.

@DrewBludd Really? You even think that this movie's mask is better than the one from the '81 Halloween 2? Part 2 had the same mask used in the first film. I agree that this was an improvement from 4 & 5, but the mask was still inferior to the first two films (as was the guy playing Myers). Dick Warlock (Myers from Part 2) is the only guy that was good after Nick Castle (Myers from Part 1).

@Karosanyo The guy who played Myers in 6 is the same as the one from 4. The mask in Halloween 2 is MOST CERTAINLY NOT the same mask from part one.

@DrewBludd The mask from '81 "Halloween 2" IS the same mask used in '78 "Halloween". Look it up. Debra Hill had the original mask under her bed for three years and it was used for the sequel. The mask looks different because it's worn and Warlock had a rounder shaped thead (Nick Castle's was long and thin). I think the mask used in "Halloween 2" is vastly superior to the one used in Part 6. That mask looks like it has a double chin and the hair on it was too long.

@Karosanyo Okay, dude. Well if you're saying they look different then they look different. And the mask in part two looks awful. Just.... God, just awful. Oddly enough, my DVD of Halloween 2 has a still photo from Halloween 1 on the box art and a still photo from Halloween 6 on the disc itself. Neat, huh?

@DrewBludd The mask in Part 2 looks good. Awful? How so? I think that it looks creepy. The mask in Part 6 looks awful. The hair is too long, the ears stick out too much, and it has a double chin. I HATED Myers in this movie! He was too chunky and short (this Myers had a pot belly). Dick Warlock's Myers was VASTLY superor.

@Karosanyo I don't know about the double chin but the ears thing I noticed too. I thought he was really tall in this one and JACKED which fans explained by him being inactive for a few years the "curse" made him bigger (stronger).

@Karosanyo In any case, even you sir agree that the mask in part two is damaged and different looking. Which is super lame because the sequel is supposed to take place later that same night. If I were them I would have taken some money from the budget and ordered a new Shatner mask to paint white instead of using a beat up, damaged mask that looks warped and altogether different from the original footage.

@DrewBludd They were going to get a different mask but the director of Part 2 really liked the look of the dirty mask. I agree with you that they should have used a mask more closer to the original (it's much more scary when it's pure white). LOL, maybe the mask could have gotten dirty from his fall or the blood from his eye? I still think that the mask used in the second is still the second best.

@DrewBludd Dick Warlock played the undead Myers. His movements were very zombie like and inhuman. The mask was scary because it was misshapen (he got pretty messed up in the first one). He was the ONLY "actor" that captured the creepiness of Nick Castle in the sequles. I liked Myers thin (his body was a young man of 21 and he was in a catatonic state for 15 years). That's more creepy to me. I think that this "evil made his body muscular" business is lame. I was cool his his collar up.

@DrewBludd Dick Warlock is considered second best by many. You're in a minority. Your least favorite Myers? Myers in part 4 looked like a clown with that baggy jumpsuite and silly looking mask. His mask in part 5 looked awful! the neck was too big and the face and nose was too long. The mask in H20 just wasn't creepy. The hair was too long as well. He looked like a rubbery Sid Vicious in 8. I explained 6. Zombie's Myers was too big and the mask wasn't creepy. These Myers were more like Jason.

Anyone with medical training (surgical training in particular), can anyone tell me what exactly the knife that Michael picks up is? Some have said it's a surgical machete (which I don't quite believe), and others say that its an amputation knife (which I believe more). This is something that's been bugging me for YEARS-- any help that anyone could offer would be GREATLY appreciated.

That's an amputation knife, I believe-- some have called it a surgical machete, and honestly I can't blame them due to the way it looks, though most real machetes have a thicker blade than that does; designed for more rugged work than I bet that chopper Michael's using is designed for.
