OK fair enough I suppose I did pass judgement but it's my honest feeling from watching this. I have more respect for the Greek Sonderkommando. They paid the ultimate price to maintain their integtrity and principles. Helping the enemy in wartime is treason and the work that these people did was the most heinous form of it.

Personally, I do not judge these people as I cannot even begin to imagine the daily horror they lived through but I can see how some people might consider them traitors. The victims were led into the gas chambers by the Sonderkommandos. Their bodies were removed from the gas chambers and burned by the Sonderkommandos in pits or crematoria minutes later. This process was supervised by only a handful of SS guards. The process would not have been possible without the Sonderkommandos.

This was about personal survival . These men were most definetley not traitors. The Greek Sonderkommando refused to do the work and were immediatley annihalated, What good do you think that did?
