I think that gadget is SO very stupid, but then i can't believe that SO many have bought it, makes no sense!

poke a hole on pointy end, and tap rounded end, put it to your lips and blow. It works everytime.

great video. It's all voodoo when it's going to work and when it's going explode your eggs. Some brands seem to work better than others. You have to not boil them too long and put the eggs in ice water for at least 10 minutes. Out of every 6 eggs, I average 3 explode and 3 shelled properly.
