Dre can be a scary motherfucker, but comparing voices with Eminem, he sounds wiser and less impulsive than Shady. It makes some sort of sense, actually. Dre did discover Eminem and brought him into the mainstream, so he would be more experienced.

Eminem, like many successful white rappers, leans more towards the horrocore end of the spectrum. Horrorcore, while it can be educational and/or morally-influenced(Insane Clown Posse, for example), tends to remove the realistic aspect of gangsta rap and amp up the glorification of fantasy violence.
