After reading what you sent me, those thoughts Obama wrote in his book; do you think they stem from his struggling in trying to find his own identity? It can be a mightly struggling trying to find who you are when you are born from 2 culturally different parents. You may have to look deeper in those comments instead of the literal sense of them.

Historically, according to the system of race which the United States has used throughout most of it history, that of "hypo-descent," then YES, Obama most certainly is black. In America, we generally function by the "one drop" rule, or the principle that "one drop of black blood makes you black." And the media heightens it even further to where you can't even tell the difference anymore between "what's real" and "what is a reality show". I don't listen to that bruhaha non-sense anymore. I do my own research and seek the truth myself. Because lately, no one else seems to want to do that.

We are all too concern with riding on every word of Sean Hannity, Lou Dobbs, Rachel Maddow, Keith Olberman, O'Reilly, Anne Coulter, Michelle Malkin, etc... as if their words are Gospel. President Obama hasn't even completed 1 year or his presidency and many Americans are already getting ready for the lynching (lack of a better word). We need to stop operating on fear. These are unsettling and unprecedented time; however we should not be held hostage to our fears.

Just give him a chance. And by the end of his first term if you feel that he is not doing a good job then vote for someone else. But just make sure you are deciding from information you gathered yourself and being spoon fed information the media wants to you have.
