@zambonyman They didn't say they sounded like them they said that's where they got there influence and they all came from a hardcore scene except Patrick i mean if you want to get technical then the band is 3/4 metal I like metallica and these guys and I know they sound nothing alike they just got inspiration from them and many other artist as well that's all they were saying open your ears!!

@zambonyman Metallica are hardly even Metal nor heavy, and highly overated. FOB have guitar riffs and bits which are as heavy as Metallica's ones and then they also have bits which sound Pop-ish, which is what they explain here. FOB are a softcore band which is basically a heavier version of Pop Punk.
