    :o)

  • so you boutght a yngwe malmsteen strat to play blues...

  • thumbs down for comment attitude. what a douche.

  • Not the real one but nevertheless veryt good

  • don't play with a pick. You'll get unique sounds.

  • @OrangeArmorSky You are correct in two ways - I am indeed not Yngwie (as indicated by my youtube name above) and 2: I fu*ked your mother.

  • @OrangeArmorSky POSER? Funny coming from a guy who wears a 'phantom of the opera' mask in his guitar vids. Is that your favourite play? F*G!

  • @jamesmcmanus79 YOU NEED TO CHANGE THE HEADLINE AND YOU KNOW IT. YOU 'RE ONLY GETTING VIEWS BECAUSE OF YOUR BULLSHIT TITLE. UNTIL YOU CHANGE IT, POSER YOU SHALL REMAIN.

  • @OrangeArmorSky is it the famous american negative IQ? you fuckheads can't read the title when it's made of more than two words? he said it's yngwie's stratocaster, not yngwie playing blues

  • @tomination90 yngwie'S straocaster is more clear. That's not the title. I'd bet over 90% of the viewers got here expecting Yngwie Malmsteen. Everyone who gave thumbs up are either a kid that just started playing, a mom that just bought their kid a guitar or, a "sell out", LIKE YOU.

  • @OrangeArmorSky well, if you could read you'd knew what the video would be like. usa isn't the only country of the world (however I expect you to doubt it, lmao) and retarded people like you all aren't 100% of the population you see...

  • @tomination90 Your a fool. He's laughing at you. Either that or you're his big sister.

  • @OrangeArmorSky cut it you dumbass, and know I feel sorry for you. you can't read.

  • @tomination90 +++It's ALL POSITIVE over here, baby+++

  • @OrangeArmorSky lmao damn he played you, why are you wearing a mask?? you look like a lil bitch poser trying to be super h3avy m37al!!

  • @aces519 +++"Just another arrogant bastard."+++

  • @OrangeArmorSky Funny how you took down your videos where youre wearing your super cool phantom of the opera mask. Now I cant show it to my friends to laugh at you, gosh darn!

  • you play real blues..great! not as yngwie. your blues is better

  • What pickups does it have ? Sounds lovely!

  • it was ok. i was put off by your yngwie in your title. Your not yngwie so dont try to feed off of his youtubers

  • @SugaInDaRaw - Any ideas on how I might showcase my 'Yngwie Malmsteen Stratocaster' without mentioning "Yngwie"?. Kind of an important search term don;t you think?

  • @jamesmcmanus79 why not showcase your skills instead of the guitar. if you were giving a guitar demo then perhaps talk about the guitar. seems to me this is an improv not a demo.

  • @jamesmcmanus79 put fender next to it... lol

  • @jamesmcmanus79 how about me playing on a malmsteen stratocaster?

  • @SugaInDaRaw You're an idiot.. Just saying >_>

  • Your playing's good enough to do without that Wah shite mate.

  • Talented ! Very very good playing and well equipments .

  • Dear James, if you play as great like this, you should use your own name. Compliments! Thanks for posting. Peace to you all, Fred.

  • You got d'em blues brother. You rock it gently! Love your playing!

  • thank you, sounded great, much more exciting then your typical simple blues.. in my opinion

  • felt awesome when you hit that harmonic at 0 29 didn,t?

  • man someone that uses classical vibrato, thats pretty awseome dont see many people that use that. nice video

  • Excellent

  • When you get away from the effects and learn to use the guitar the way it was intended, ie: extremely wide vibrato and extreme bends, instead of just trying to shred notes, you might actually have something.

  • You sound awesome!

  • Sounds amazing,.. Just that... Im not really a fan of those vibratos. : /

  • too bad you didn't switch to the bridge so the rest of us could hear it???

  • Great i found one used for 850 euros..

  • I read a comment that when you play chords on the yngwie strats it sounds out of tune. Do you find that to be true? BTW nice playing.

  • @bnbfalconYes, It can sound out of tune when playing chords. This is due to the fact that since you have the contour's in each fret, you have to press down equally hard on each of the strings. If not, then it will sound out of tune. It is something you must practice a lot and get used to the feel of it.

  • @Epiphonewylde But do you really press the string right down to the wood even on a regular guitar? I don't think so. Then it shouldn't matter whether you play a normal or a scalloped neck. The only danger I see in scallops is that it's easier to pull the string sideways than it is on a regular neck. I play a scalloped neck myself and never had any tuning problems with it switching from a regular one.

  • @jaimico777 jealous much?

  • Man, ur frets is very deep!

  • I really like the melody you r playing, and great sound too. Your vibrato could definitely be improved. Check out what Gary Moore or Eric Clapton are doing.

    Great job anyway.

  • love your vibrato on this one

  • one more point of advice, turn your vibrato from a side to side motion to an up and down motion. It opens up the ability to bend up to a note, and then add vibrato on that bent note. It takes a bit to get used to but its fantastic once your used to it.

  • @not2getto i find side to side vibrato works better for microtonal intervals with a scalloped neck/fretboard

  • @HallJJ08 I agree, you can also just push down but it take alot more precision

  • @not2getto YES! That was exactly my thought. Check out Hendrix or Stevie Ray Vaughn. They never do the side to side classical style vibrato... only the up and down and MUCH wider than what you are doing.

  • @not2getto RE : vibrato -

rebelling from his classical lessons when mum aint home ?

  • You're wrong ! that's not Malmsteen's one. Not the one from the Custom shop !

  • Its awesome. The only thing I would consider changing would be the bridge picup - not quite enough kick.

  • @jamesmcmanus79 try raising it up a bit! i did that with mine, the tone of the pickup changes a bit but it certainly makes it a tad more ballsy :)

  • Very good! Great feel! If you dont mind me asking, how much this guitar cost you? It sounds amazing haha.

  • Retails at about £1300. I got it second hand off of ebay at a very good price.

  • @jamesmcmanus79 hmm that's probably about $3,000 in new zealand dollars, or more

  • pretty good ;)
