Keith's IPA, an Iconic Nova Scotia beer, not a true IPA. Watered down by it's mass production, but not bad. There are better breweries in Halifax, such as Garrison and Propeller, both of which make a fantastic IPA.
halifax is a city, but only in itself. as halifax is the capital of nova scotia and also the largest city. the creation of the HRM does not designate its entirety as halifax, it is a broad term referring to several combined towns which are grouped close together and governing them as one body made things much easier. the only reason halifax is part of the name "HRM" is because, again, it is the largest city and it also is relatively centered amongst the grouping. you still call new york "new
Haha yeah. I couldn't really understand the pronunciation guides I found online so I gave up :)I think I need to go over there and drink some beer with the locals to practice.
Ah, I didn't know Ambrosia isn't a common term in Canada.
In the US, ambrosia is a dessert dish that's comprised of whipped topping, sour cream, coconut, bananas, mandarin oranges, other fruits, and sometimes marshmallows. It's ok when it's fresh, but leave it sitting too long and it's soggy & atrocious.
I saved a few a while back - then they got lost when my disk died. Now I don't usually, because I don't have time. Also because I am editing it myself I don't think they're that funny ... it might be different if someone else was editing it.
Most of my bloopers are like this: say something, stop because I forget what I am supposed to be saying, look at my notes, start again. Or: stop because I realize I'm not sure how to pronounce a word, look it up in the dictionary, start again. Or: stop because there is a loud sound outside, start again.
I guess this is for anglos. At least they meantioned beer. I hope I'm not expected to talk dainty.. Cowboys and real men don't talk that way. Albiet she is a woman but their are alot of men that talk dainty thinking that makes them English.

Alexander Keith's IPA is a travesty. Worst IPA I've ever had. Ever. More like a light lager. Seems the only decent Canadian beer is made in Quebec.

Keith himself probably got a kick out of how a room full of people obliterated on his beer attempted to pronounce the end of that pledge, lol.
