@omzyr Well. It seemed the US audience hate subtitle so much. I know that some movie have to be dubbed to English (e.g. Zhang Yimou's Hero). Between having the movie subtitled, dubbed, or remade, it seemed they chose the latter. They can also easily replace the actor with more well-known actor for US. My guess, they will ask someone like Jeff Imada to be the coreographer of the remade version.

He has done all of his stunts for Merantau and with fellow martial artist Yayan Ruhian did choreography for The Raid. Maybe you should listen to the Questions and answers segment of the film when Garrett Evans himself said that while the stunts resulted in no major injuries there were times when Iko sprained his ankle and guys falling stories high. It's real

I have nothing against Mike, but from what I've read, people who watched the whole movie said that the original score is alright and well orchestrated, and they pretty satisfied with it.

I hope Mike's work really enhance the original work, not the opposite. So let's hope for the best.

Shinoda not only paid for the actual scoring work but also for the hype & fan base. Its like paying Lady Gags as creative director for Polaroid, shes not necessarily the best CD for the brand, but she generates big hype & brings in lots of consumers off her fan base. Shinodas not a bad musician so its alright. But I dislike the Hollywood remake, rather had them produce the sequels & prequel with the original team.
