  • Please excuse me for my rude behavior. However, u cant not go around bull shitting about general Bengali ppl. thats just WRONG. RESPECT people. People from Bangladesh are PERFECTLY and i mean PERFECTLY acceptable for this role. u have to understand that. Now, maybe for this movie, he wasnt the best actor choosen. so please, watch ur mouth. From w.e. country u are from, RESPECT people from other countries. - a bengali.

  • before doing any comments, first learn how to respect another country's language...the way they accent....Don't think u r the most smartest one.

  • Is that Sherya or Annewsha??

  • hahaha...the guys funny...)..all the BD people i have me t have a major hatered of WB bengalis

  • bengali is such a sweet language ^^

  • Choreographed By "Sukalyann N Entouragee"

  • really love d song!

  • mostafa prokash -totally crap. Ferdaus is much better hero from Bangladesh.

  • this version is from Shreya Ghoshal

  • @tarangvu : It hurts me immensely when I see how the "Kolkata Babus" like you look down upon us, the Bangladeshis. Who gives you the right to judge what is a "standard" Bengali and what is not? We are not the ones who are coming up with Hindi-Bangla mixed language..we fought for it's existence.. more importantly, it's WAY overdue for you to recognize that your elitist mentality with Bengali language is worthless and Bangladesh is THE present and future for Bengali literature..

  • @faheemh dada rege jan keno? ami west bengaler bangali..but uttor kolkatar eii accent amaro ase na ...eta just ekta comment ...of course we should go hand in hand

  • @faheemh If u read all my comments carefully,u wud note,i always respect u ppl 4 d way u fought 4 bangla language & stood up 4 ur rights.Bt u missed my point.Itz a fact(tho u wud try 2 put up a strong defence & b in denial mode)most ppl of present BD cant get their language/accent right & hence sum of dem join classes while sum lazy bones dont make even dis much effort.I complained coz M. Prokash is nt comfortable wid N.Kolkata accent bt he is supposed 2 b a typical N. Kolkataite in dis film!

  • @tarangvu R u delusional? There are two distinct points here. One- M. Prakash didn't do a good job in this movie: as local Kolkata babus, u hv every right to share constructive criticism. The second: You are generalizing wrongly and "most ppl of present BD cant get their language/accent right & hence sum of dem join classes while sum lazy bones don't make even dis much effort"- according to you... This is outright RACIST!! Who are you to judge that Bangladeshis don't get their language right??

  • @tarangvu Per u'r logic, then either US or the Brits also didn't get their English right as they have different accents/dialects? & funny enough, where r u getting your facts from? BD ppl go to classes to fix up their language?? & the rest are lazy bones? And whatever way u speak Bengali (mixing hindi) r OK? I hv many good friends in WB but hv to say, it's good that u'r forefathers migrated long b4.. as BD doesn't hv any place for such racist views

  • @faheemh There r classes 4 teaching what u call 'promito bangla' in BD where many go 2 get their accents rt.When hollywood makes film based on story wid Brit background, their actors make it sure dat they get d accents(Brit accent)right.Since M.Prokash played d role of a North Kolkatan,he shud hv taken enough pains 2 master d accent first.Earlier too Tollywood had many actors frm erstwhile E.Bengal,bt they mastered accent of Kolkata also widin no time.Mayb they were more talented & hardworking.

  • @faheemh Truly speaking,i am a minority in W.Bengal/among d Indian Bengalees,as far as my views r concerned.I may b a racist according 2 u,bt most ppl in W.Bengal wud nt even agree wid me -on d contrary, they wud cum out in ur support or sympathise wid u(eg. see d comment made by paradoxycycline)Most ppl of W.Bengal(nt rest of India) r too liberal & broadminded 2 stand 4 their own race & hence far frm being 'racists'.I may b d odd one out. What abt d BD blogs & media which r full of racial hatred?

  • @tarangvu you are becoming too harsh on him ... he accepted that the accent in this particular film needs to north kolakata ..why bd blogs !!! but think about it .. tollywood heros accent "jeet " "dev" keubhalo kore bangla bolteii pare na !!!!!!

  • @MegaIdntcare Who has 'accepted',? Has anybdy? 2ndly i never suggested Jeet/Dev shud replace dis hero. There r many other deserving Tollywood actors, who might nt b 'heroes'.3rdly Dev's diction is faulty,no doubt. Bt Jeet, tho he is a non bengali, was born & brought up in Kolkata & may b datz why can speak better bangla dan Dev.In fact Jeet speaks Bangla as good as any one of us.Of course, again dis is nt 2 suggest Jeet shud hv been d hero of dis film.Any good actor frm Kolkata cud hv fitted d bill.

  • @tarangvu yah abir could have easily done this

  • @paradoxycycline Bt dont think my comments here against M. Prokash was in reaction 2 what BD people write in their blogs/newspapers.Here in d film d character demanded a command over d local accent which d hero was clearly not having. Otherwise,d film had several high points- the plot was original n a good one, d music was too good.Sorry, if i had hurt ur sentiments,bt get well acquainted wid BD n u will realise how liberal, generous n forgiving we Kolkatans r n we often do dat at our own cost.

  • @paradoxycycline & while u get bugged up by my 'insensitive comments' plz take out sum time 2 visit sum BD blogs (like Somewhereinblog, etc) which r very popular among Bangladeshis & also their newspapers n see 4 urself d hatred n venom spread by dem daily against Kolkata, W.Bengal n India by writing stuff full of lies/half truths. My ancestral home was in erstwhile E.Bengal n i was very sympathetic 2 2day's BD till i read those things. While we mostly have been sympathetic n loving 2wards dem.

  • @paradoxycycline I agree wid u dat we haven't matched d way d Bangladeshis have upheld their language & culture & we need 2 take a lesson/two frm dem in dat. Bt itz a fact dat they r nt comfortable wid even what they call std. Bangla n datz why they attend special classes to learn what they call 'promito bangla'.& in dis film d hero(Natobor) hails frm a typical N. Kolkata para.Bt itz very evident dat Mustafa Prokash is not comfortable wid d accent/dialogue.He was 1 of d weak links in dis film.

  • I am a Kolkatan from top to bottom. Still some insensitive comments here compelled me to respond. You may say that Bangladeshis have an accent dissimilar to that of ours. But to say that Bangladeshis are not "comfortable with the standard bengali accent/ pronunciation" is preposterous. The way they've upheld Bangla language & culture West Bengalees can't even dream of. If someone says our pronunciation or accent is the standard while theirs aren't then it's a deplorable self-righteousness.

  • @paradoxycycline Your comment really inspires me! As a Bangladeshi, I've often faced the same discrimination. However, as Bengalis, we must cherish the united heritage of both regions of Bengal and carry down our rich cultural history, together and forever.

  • @papri10 I never asked anybody dis question or involved myself in the debate regarding who had sung dis song or whatever. So why r u giving me dis info?

  • I liked the video as well as the song... but I didn't get the point of uaing the face painted ladies dancing all around the background. I kinda felt that it took away from the actual beauty of the music video.

  • stop talking about the film and hero etc etc and enjoy the song!!!

  • Please note this song has been sung by Anwesha and not by Shreya.

  • Hats off to Debojyoti Mishra for such a beaautiful composition and kudos to Shreya for the heart touching rendition :)

  • darun gaan boltei hobe

  • awesome song..

  • this beautiful song is sung by one and only the genius shreya ghosal, no anwesa can even copy that

  • @subhrasmit nee bondha

  • loved it

  • He is looks like a tamil side actor....totally crap dude....I don't like the hero as well as his acting...but RAIMA is superb.

  • Jiyo KAKA....

  • How can this guy be hero!!!!!

  • @vishnarayan D hero is some Mostafa Prokash from Bangladesh.Though there are good actors & heroes in Kolkata/W.Bengal,I don't know why d he director Amit Sen zeroed in on dis bumpkin from Bangladesh knowing fully well dat like most other Bangladeshis, this one also won't be comfortable with the standard bengali accent/ pronunciation. And in the film he played the character of a native of North Kolkata! His discomfort with his accent/dialogue was evident. He needs more training & rigorous practice.

  • nyc song ...........

  • folks, there are lot of confusions about who is the orginal singer of this song. And it is none other than Shreya Ghoshal. It was very sad to see, that Anwesha, blatantly told a lie (sad to see she was looking for an undeserved popularity) in Dadagiri, that the song (in Raima Sen's) voice was sung by her. In a matter of fact it was sung by Shreya Ghoshal, Anwesha, just assisted Raghab in the male version, and also, sang a couple of lines in the sad version.

  • @ranboxy

I think you are telling the lie, She had not told anything like it in Dadagiri, at least from the videos that have been uploaded by Zee bangla. bcoz what we see, she started the song w/o any introduction about it.. watch it

    /watch?v=HIBTMuKDVmw&feature=fvw

quick question, did u watch the movie by any chance..

  • @taalandsur

watched dadagiri live, Anwesha blatantly told the lie, that she sang in Raima's voice. shame on her.

  • @ranboxy

u r a liar, post the link here then.. as I posted here.. otherwise STFU..

BTW, even if she told this its not lie, bcoz there is other song which was on raima and sung by her. Thats why I asked whether you watched it or not.. shame on u for this hatred.

  • @taalandsur

i WATCHED IT LIVE...cant find the link to the entire episode, you can ask whoever watched live..

she blatantly told the lie...its cheap to be a copycat and far more cheaper to claim to be original.

Also, no offense, your language shows which background you come from. This is my last comment to the post.

  • @ranboxy

ur background is a lie, dnt knw where u came from anyway, full episodes are uploaded in zee bangla if u don't know. this will help you to get full episode.. see I am helping you. now post the link here, otherwise u r a liar..

BTW do you know this song has 2 versions(female) in the movie. thats why I asked whether u have watched it or not... ignorant fool..

  • @taalandsur

good luck to the copycat....a crow can only pretend to be a peacock...

and about you...dont need to comment...your background is self evident. goodbye. I watched it live..and I reiterate she told she sang is Raima's voice. I watched the movie, Shreya sang the original in Raima's voice, I hears a sad version, only couple of lines with Raghab's.

    Good luck...go fuck yourself.

  • @ranboxy

here no is either crow or peacock.. u r telling lie to people in internet, whn i asked about proof, u pissed in pant.. she sang exactly the part she sang in the movie for sad version, and if you missed, then it was in background at the ending part of the movie.

watch?v=3FP0JGgl-3k from 1.30 another proof and this is w/o raghab.. till u come with proof, plz dont bark " i saw it" coz no one is interested in ur wet dreams..

  • who's this "chakka" hero ?? why cant bangla movies find good hero's ... ?? while the girls rock the guys are just "rock " ..

  • This song is sung by Shreya only.. there is a sad version which is sung by Anwesha

  • "Valo" naa...khub khub khub Bhaalo...

  • dreamy dreamy song..... valo

  • this nice songs sung by anwesha... not shreya ghoshal....

  • awesome choreography and very nice song too

  • bhalo laga gaan

  • This is Shreya Ghoshal. but in the male version which is sung by Raghab, Anwesha was supporting vocal.

  • choreography is really good n unusual for a bengali movie.......liked it very much....

  • Once and for all let me settle the debate...the singer is "Shreya Ghosal"..if you have any doubt please visit the official website.search for "bunchofbuddies"..go to production and then..to audio and see it urself. It's true Anwesha also has sung this same song..but not this version.

  • ছেলেটার অ্যাক্টিং কেমন যেন কাঠ-কাঠ । স্বাভাবিক কোন রেস্পন্স নাই । গানটা জটিল ।

  • its not Shreya ghoshal..its anneysha from the amul chote ustad

  • I saw the movie when i had been to Kolkata recently. The film was not bad though it had a few glitches. The concept was really good. But the new hero,Mustafa Prokash, was not at all up to the mark. He did not look comfortable at all.Why did the director zeroed in on this Bangladeshi hero who did not sound comfortable with his dialogues or accent?

  • @tarangvu Eta Sreya geyeche, sad version ta Anwesha geyeche.

  • @tarangvu

probably Money of some bangladesi Smuggler / Bangladesi underworld has been used to produce this film. i heard some heros like FERDAUS get job here (though FIRDAUS speakes good bengali) beacause he is backed by big fishes with lots of black money of that country.

  • @debdina I dont know about d source of money bt I read in newspapers dat in one of d recent Tollywood films Ferdous had done wid Jeet(where Ferdous played Jeet's elder brother/uncle),Ferdous' voice had 2 b dubbed coz his accent is also equally faulty! I hv carefully noted his speech in sum tv reality shows. The other explanation u gave (about money) might b true.

  • khub shundor gaan. raima's looking cute. khub mishti lyrics.
