@katzenjammerqotsa the walk from the hotel to the venue took us past where the buses were, and he was out smoking. I wouldn't normally approach people, but couldn't walk past him with my Mondo T shirt on and not say hello. He was really kind and friendly to us, was cool :)
@virussize6 yep, 5 hour drive each way, but seeing them once was not gonna be enough.. rock city is a great venue, and we met Nick while down there so it was extra worth it :)

I followed your example and went off to hellfest to see kyuss (and other bands), met all 4 at the signing tent got a t and card signed, was worth it just for that. keep an eye on hellfest next year,it was a great stoner line up in the terrorizer tent , a very cool festival , very heavy yet very chilled.
Rock city was once a good venue, not so much now though, it always sounds like too much bass, like its underwater.
