I make this dessert every Thanksgiving. You're so funny. It is good holiday dessert, but if you ever make it again, you can microwave the butter and cream cheese a little bit until they stir into one another(in the early years I didn't have all the kitchen gadgets either), then add the pumpkin and sugar...eggs last(you don't want to risk curdling them with the hot butter and cream cheese).
