sammy terry was a big part of my childhood and i really think he was the last of his kind....when we lost him we lost a very important part of the human connection with host and audience
I'm gonna find tracks of the vampire and watch this with the segways...I grew up with this guy from '77-'87ish...I'm just glad he's still up and scareing somewhere..
One of my relatives worked the spider, I think it was my great uncle or something like that. My mom told me that years ago. Kinda cool I guess. Sammy Terry was the best. Wish I could have seen his stuff during his actual active years though. Still, being in Indiana, how can you not at least know of the guy. Cult hero for sure.
Growing up here in Indiana, I do know Sammy Terry. Unfortunately, his programs ended when I was a baby, but my mom is a fan. Also an interesting note, my great uncle worked on the show, I think he moved the spider.
I totally miss watching Sammy Terry on Indiana's 4 WTTV this show made my weekend when I was growing up I certainly hope that they bring it back on the air
What a blast from the past, added to the list of commercials.... Bob Catterson, nobody.... but nooooooooobody can beat a Bob Catterson price LOL... Thanks for sharing this. I remember being scared to death of Sammy of course we watched him in mostly the black and white shows so I never realized his cowl and cape were BLOOD RED.... Mwahahahahahahahaha... Pleasant Nightmares....
Wow- I remember all of the commercials! Jimmy before the fall, Cowboy Bob, the cash bargain song, Lloyd Walker! All you need now is Tom Raper RVs and Don Davis not wanting to make any money, just sell guns!

I so miss watching "Sammy Terry" on the weekends. He was one of the very best things about growing up in Indianapolis.
