i got a dervish and after i wear it out i was thinking of getting a vanny is it better or worse, i love the low center of gravity on the dervish

@jjjabberjaws well the dervish is gonna have more traction than the dervish cuz it's a top mount. so if you like how easy it is to break free on the dervish...you may not like the vanguard.

@Tarzan07330 yeah my friend got a vanny i love how flexy it is ( his is a flex 3 ) and when i first got in to long boarding i wanted to get in to dancing but now i free ride so the vanny is no good for me any more but its fun to rip around on and carivng is so smooth

you should put your front foot more horizontal

if your toe faces forward like that you wont get as good balance as you would if it was horizontal

ok so im trying to decide which board to get for Christmas I need some help I have a 47 inch sector 9 pintail but im looking for something a little more movable you know, I want something that will give me the surf feel and carve also I want to be able to ride it to school which is a good mile or two any recomendations?

Have you looked into the Loaded Dervish? Some of the Arbor boards are real nice too. Check 'em out.

the ultimate decision is your's, but i highly recommend the dervish. i have both, and that same S9 board. dervish is low, stable, easy to ride, all more so than the vanguard- even though that board is great and i love it.

nah, the dervish is the ultimate all-around board. bust out some powerslides, go to the skate park, or take a ride down to your friend's house - it does everything.

...but, yes, it does do speed too haha

anyways, yeah, try out gravity super sliders. wooo! the harder the wheel, the better for sliding. just make sure to check the size of your wheel.

if you wanna carve, the vanguard is your best bet.
