Nas from Queensbride in Brooklyn....lol...Queensbrisge is in Queens...hard to correct a dude like this who is, in my eyes such a genius...but Queensbridge is in Queens...right by the 59th strett bridge
@TheHallzySquad, he quite a fan of music in general. Just imagine, that when my buddy discovered him he was touring with a punk band. I am guessing he has quite a wide range of music that he likes.
V540A your a fucking fool, just because he doesent know the exact geographical locations and names of some slums in New York does not make him a "whitey" I'm sure black people all across the states don't know shit about New York or any of the boroughs. Atleast he has done some research on the subject. Jackass.
@fuzzydizzle Not sure what you mean by see right through it, but I know Will and I've been to the farm where he lives, I met him almost 15 years ago now, on the farm where he has lived at least since then. It's a few miles outside of Keokuk, and is a very cool and peaceful place.
His voice is like whiskey. His music is a remedy for the soul. I once lived a simple life in the mid-west not unlike the one I so often hear him describe... That life was torn from me. I mourn that loss daily from the confines of my little apartment box. One fine day, I shall retreat into the wilderness and forget all this noise of complete dependency and planned obsolescence. His music motivates me. I think he may have saved my soul.
I think he's got Mos Def being from Brooklyn and Nas being from Queens mixed-up. Queensbridge Project is in the borough of Queens, in Long Island City, not in Brooklyn. (Hence "Queens"...)
I love dude's tunes, and he's a good dude, but this is what makes white folks look white - talkin' about and relating to hip-hop and referencing something you don't know what you're talkin' about. Queensbridge (Project) is on Vernon Blvd. in L.I.C., Queens - practically under Queensbridge, and up the street from ConEd,... and the D.O.E. (I know 'cause I worked a block from it.) Definitely not in Brooklyn...
William is the coolest.. The nicest guy you would ever meet. So down to earth and gracious for everything. I'm proud to know him and feel my life is better from meeting this wonderful person. I'm so glad fame hasn't spoiled him. And his music is so cool, it reaches everyone that hears it. Keep doing what you're doing William.
