This is played exceptionally well based on the age og these kids. The sound is very mature and the virtuosity of the players is unprecedented. I thouroughly commend the 4th horn player for playing in such a tough register with as nice of a tone and he/she did. Being a french horn playere myself, I have had first hand experience in attempt to play some of those low notes and they don't come out very easy.
no not really. they are like 15-18. their tone should be better than that. i play horn too and i have a superb low tone, and i have to say that the low part did very well.
Considering the young age of these players, this is actually pretty fantastic. The sound quality is fairly mature, and for a fourth horn that young to even be playing in such a low register is quite a remarkable accomplishment.

Im a horn player aswell, I can play really low with ease but can play high above the staff Okayish. (if that made sense?) Lol (^_^)_m/

that is true. heheh. I didnt see that itwas a youth recital. Very remarkable. Pedal Cs and lower. very nice.

4th horn needs a bit of tuning in the pedals. He is riding a bit sharp. But very nice nice nice sound... very dark and beautiful tones.
