mertme is one my friends, we went on a grand canyon trip. OH THE TIME WE HAD! well all the 7th graders go on this trip, but not this year, im gunna miss the gorgeouse scenery and the beatufil water, very good times there, thanks for good footage and a short description!!
we are all the way in California though and it would be pretty hard gettin over there! but a very good idea, and i would love to help the havasupai that live there
Yes, but it will be different. It may take 4-6 months to start the travertine forming and there will be new and different pools there next year. Navajo is gone but there will be a new falls now...
No! Don't be sad... How can you miss it when you have your memories!?! The pools and falls are going to be incredibly beautiful once again. This is a process of renewal common to Nature, that is essential to the overall health of the canyon. Go back in 2 years. Make new memories. Don't be sad!

Start a petition to move the trip to the Spring of 09 - maybe if your group volunteers in the village, you can get a discount!

I was in my tent on the lower level of AOA (Arizona Outback Adventures - Scottsdale). 3-5 minutes after I escaped the tent, it was gone!
