YES, the Bottle O Blues mic works great with the "Pignose" 7-100 amp ! I NEVER use any special effects pedals or enhancers ( unlike todays baseball players) of any type.Wether I am using a solid state amp or a tube amp , the Bottle O Blues mic kicks some MAJOR butt ! I DO NOT care for either the Green Bullet or the Astatic , just a personal thing .

I'm new to this and I have a question. I'm going to get a Pignose 7-100 amp but I haven't chosen a mic yet. I see that some mics are made for tube amps and I have also seen a device that is used with some mic/amp cobinations. Will the BOB mic work with the Pignose without any other equipment? How about mics such as the Astatic J30 and the Shure Green Bullet? Thanks!

I've got a bottle 'o' blues mic also and the little amp made from recycled cigarette packs...love it!!

I agree!This was one of my first 2 videos made in a 6x8 foot room using a Valve jr.The mic is internal in the computer and so is the camera so I am limited in that respect.I now only use a battery powered Pignose amp for these.

Steve! tough to get a sense of "actual" sound from harp and mic here. You're overdriving the recording mic, so it's ALL just distortion. You might dial down a bit.
