Damage-wise this build is not that good lol...

You should go 51 MM/10 NB/5 Sab(or 5 RS).

That way you don't get the 5% damage increase from hellfire blades but you get 15% Dex(and the more base DEX you have the more DEX you gain from that Sab passive, which means more damage and crit rate at the same time).

Fan Out is only good for stopping people picking up the fang in BG. nothing else.

Piercing Shot from ranger when talented reduces over 600 armor, which is better than Lightning Fury due to the lack of AoE's from MM build even at 51. The 30% dmg bonus in the pedestal isn't worth it if you have to move. Which the majority of bosses and PvP u have to move or u'll be dead.

You mentioned Crossfire.... useful in PvP? End game PvP most are immune. It's a pretty lacklust skill. My opinion tho.

I would suggest you drop nightblade and get ranger and get the 5% improved crit chance the bleed effect from quick shot and the piercing shot and improved piercing shot doing so will unlock a nice ability from ranger that increases ur ranger abilities by 35% for 25 seconds. and just drop the last point in assassin for the crit chance. I would also tend to go for quick shot and splinter shot in the rotation.Really nice bleeds with the 35% buff even better also the dire wolf.

Probably the best build would be 31 Ranger/18 marks/17 assas.The reason going full marks isn't worth it is because the sniper's ped isn't actually 30% dmg. really it's only 20% because no matter what combo of ranger marks you could go you would always get the 10% ped.Also ranger makes up for that 20% dmg because the headshot talent gives u 5% dmg and pet crits give u 15% dmg for 15 sec.This build really only focusses on ranger abilities if u like marks abilities better go ranger31/marks32/rift 3

heya. So, for PVE, I wanted to toss out there a build of Marksman 32, Bard 26, Ranger 8.

Yeah, I give up some nice marksmen stuff. However, the ranger tree gets me a pet and a snare, and the bard tree gets me buffs, instant combo points, and healing. I still have a ton of DPS in the Marksman tree. This build has VERY high survivability and yet still hits hard. Useful to groups, but makes for an astounding solo build. You can mez, and dump aggro on the pet. I'm very happy with it.

If you're looking for another spec, try marksman51/ranger15/Assassin0, it is a much more complicated rotation, but according to my calculations it should put out more dps.

17 assassin (5% crit, 4% damage increase, whatever u want for the next 3 on that row, then cruel vengeance and magnify pain.)

This is mine, I just tested it in alpha against your spec. I did more damage, it does miss out the one you want at 38 points, 1700 rapid fire shots, 2300 deadeye shots. I do get full tier 2 on the alpha server, but i tested it against your build it mine came out on top in terms of highest numbers.

That spec is quite weak, im using a ranger/marks/nightblade build, and I got raptor and reset cooldown ability on marksman, and hellfire blades in nightblade, my deadeye crits can go up to 2300 when i got proc's up.

bad build sorry, check the forums. with this you're doing even less dps then what's possible and that's already subpar unless Trion buffs MM/Ranger damage. You ma want to look at the assassin tree a little more and also the bladedancer tree for a certain 30% dmg increase (hint : autoshots do not matter, all that matters is increased damage on shots) hellfire blades is the right direction but 51 points is a waste :(

Sabo right now is best pve spec for dps but when next patch comes through its getting a BIG nerf. After patch either Assassin or MM will be best dps for pve.

Nightblade has great sustained DPS as well.

I must say that I think 51 ranger is better for dungeons. So many bosses require you to move around that the pedestal becomes useless. I've tried many times but I just find 51 ranger is so much better and the 51 point pet does crazy amounts of damage with 95% aoe damage reduction. My current build is Ranger 51/ NB15/ Sin 0. Its sad but the MM soul seems to be more PvP than PvE, and whats with all the speed bonus when you need to stay put on your pedestal anyway?

I completely agree Cromar. As much as I hate damage meters since it can bring out the elitest in some people, it is more of a nessessary evil. We need to be able to see how these souls are going to stack up against each other. With so many combinations it's very hard to do so.

Serrated Blades(Your Critical attacks cause the enemy to bleed for 100% of your weapon damage.) Murderous Intent(increases physical damage by 4%) and magnify pain(crit dmg +20%)
