I will always think that this song was about shooting heroin. I remember all the controversy back then over this song and Bridge over troubled waters by Simon and Garfunkle at that time too. Most songs back then were about getting off.

Jude was supposed to be John Lennons son it was made by paul for Julian Johns son because john and his wife Cythia seperated but they decided that julian wouldnt fit so they got jules and of course that didnt work either so they decided to go with Jude.
