Yes! You are right thexalon - form the Overture to "Faith in this has brought together" chorus is pure Opera - no spoken libretto. The longest piece of G&S operetta continuous music (excepting Trial by Jury of course) I'm not surprised you consider it a challenge!

I conducted this show a while back, and know from experience that that opening 15 minutes or so is about the hardest stuff in the G&S repertoire.

And I really liked your production of Ruddigore a couple of years back.
