I hadn't thought about using the Wilton fondant to make gum paste. Great idea! Do you make gum paste as you need it or mix the whole box and store it? How much tylose do you use? Thanks for all the wonderful videos. You don't know how much they help.
Thanks! I'm glad you found my videos useful. :) I usually keep a bunch of it ready at hand but I'm always making it too because I use it so quickly. :) It doesn't take much tylose really, just a couple of tablespoons for 2 pounds of fondant. :)
I don't even want to ask how much these figurines cost!! I searched for these figurines, and the set was $100!!! it wasn't edible and I don't believe it included dj lance!!
I would love to have these for my daughters second bday! If you could send me a price to my email! I could like them to be about 3.5-5 inchs tall aswell. If you could contact me on here and I will send you my email that would be amazing!!
Hi Amber! Yes, you certainly can. Can you please e-mail me here on youtube and let me know exactly which ones you need and how tall you want them so that I can quote you a price? Thank you! :0)
Hi Laura! I need these by April 8th please let me know if that is doable for you, I only need them to be about 3 - 5" tall for my cake, I need to know how much you would charge for them? Thanks~
These are great!! How much do u charge?? I've been looking everywhere for these! My son's birthday party is in a month and his theme is Yo gabba gabba.
It's not on her website. It's on her youtube channel here on youtube. Just search for Aine2 & go to her videos list. You should be able to find it somewhere in there... That's where I found it. :0)
Hi Laura, I love your gumpaste figurines, Is there any way that I can order them for my nieces first birthday party for.October 31st. I would 1st like to know how much you charge for them. Thanks : )
Hi there! Yes, of course youcan order them from me. These in particular were also an out of state order. If you need them for Oct. 31st then I would need to get started on them RIGHT AWAY. Please message me via e-mail here on YouTube and that way we can discuss the price, delivery, etc. Thanks for contacting me! :0)
hi just curious u said you painted soem of em is it possible to just incorporate food coloring to reach the desire color with the gumpaste? am new to all of this so have no idea. please help!
Hi! Yes you can definitely mix in gel food coloring to color gumpaste, which is what I did with these little guys. When I said I painted, I meant the little details like the white stripes on the jumpsuit or the zig zag lines on the green guy. :)
That's what I say! LOL! I didn't even know who these little guys were 'till they asked me to make them. After I made these I watched the show once... ONCE! LOL! :)
Thank you! I have also tried Wilton Gumpaste and to be honest with you, I didn't like it at all. It was very dry to start and not very pliable. That is why I switched to making my own gumpaste out of Wilton fondant mixed with Tylose powder. I highly recommend it. It starts off very soft and you still have time to maneuver! :)
Thanks! These guys will probably go standin up. I individually wrap these guys first with kleenex. Fill all the empty spaces like between legs, under arms, etc. Then I wrap them with soft tissue and then wrap them each with bubble wrap. This is how I've managed to not have any break on me in the past. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for these little dudes! LOL! :) Glad you liked them! :)
Thank you! The silver is an airbrush paint by AmeriColor and the color is silver sheen. You can find the color online. It's not too expensive. I think I paid like $8 for decent size bottle. :) Glad you liked'em! :)
Laura you are absolutely amazing!!! I can't describe in words how happy and thrilled we are with the figures!!! Your talent is above descriotion and I can just hope to be a good in this as you are. I hope I can meet you in Texas when we move in Jan!!

Excellent Laura! I love your work.
Can you tell me what I can do to prevent my gumpaste from cracking as it dries? I am using Wilton gumpaste. Is that the problem?
I have always add a little Crisco and food wilton food colorings, and no matter what, my figures dry and crack (or at least get a "wrinkled" look).
