Congressmen Inslee and Paul said at two different events in the Seattle area recently that impeachment will not help. Inslee said that he needs to focus on getting the troops home. The Republicans are shunning Bush & he doesn't want to rally them to his side. Dr. Paul wants to focus on restoring the Constitution & its too late in the term he said.
This isn't actually about impeachment, but about placing the blame for the Iraq occupation squarely on Bush & Cheney etc., rather than on us "Americans". Since the war has stirred up huge suffering and hatred of "us" that we will have to deal with for decades (thanks George!), it would help if these prix took personal responsibility and showed some remorse.
